German duo Cassandra Steen and Adel Tawil have been selected to represent FSR Rontvia in XXI with the song Stadt, which will be the first foreign language song to represent the country in the main contest. Potentially a risky move, the Rontvian delegation said 'this song is too good not to be sent, if we finish last in the semi final then so be it, we want to move FSR Rontvia forward in different ways now. We felt that we acheived this in XI-XX sending ten completely different types of song, five of which finished top three in the final, including two winners and two runners up. Going back to cheesy pop last month was a one off to see if we could still pull off that sort of entry when we had veered so far into alternative entries during XIII-XIX. Anna did us proud finishing second and we hope that the voters of the Buzzjack World will appreciate Stadt'.

10 foot tall singer Cassandra and her small friend Adel were honoured to be picked for XXI

FNT Nickodonia confirms return to indie

Today the Nickodonian delegates confirmed that Emma-Lee Moss (Emmy The Great) would represent the country in the 21st edition of the contest, with its 15th entrant. This is a return to the indie/folk scene for the country after they secured 18th place in BJSC XX with Dance-Pop anthem Alive. The country has previously enjoyed success with "quirky" female singers with Polly Scattergood and Laura Marling both making the final. The Nickodonian delegation are hoping Emmy can secure a 7th appearance in the BJSC final for the country.

BOTANIKKA XXI

SUN HO - FANCY FREE

SUN is representing Botanikka in Numayania for BJSC XXI- she's now in the studio to finish her much-anticipated first US album with superstar songwriters and producers like Danja, Rodney Jerkins, RedOne, etc. SUN’s rising career is bound to continue to create ripple effects in every direction, as her personal discoveries and breakthroughs reach the world stage. “I’m a strong believer that everything happens for a purpose,” she says. “I really hope I can continue to be creative and give something back. I love the strong, independent image of American women performers such as Fergie, Gwen Stefani and Madonna. I hope to bring that out in the process of growing as an artist here. I want to be an Asian maverick.”

I've recently ordered the new Pixie Lott album :D

Does anyone know if it is any good? Or if I will (truly) enjoy it, taken that I like songs as "Here we go again", "Mama do" and "Boys and girls"..?

Here's hoping it was a good purchase! :)

And I really like the variety of songs in this contest. Refreshing!

(Btw: I will be confirming tomorrow.)
