There are so many ex, current and, quite possibly, future Sugababes that's it's impossible to keep track of who has and hasn't spoken out about all the hideousness that's been going down in the past week. But there's one thing we do know - Amelle who, let's not forget, was the main reason all of this kicked off in the first place, has kept silent since Keisha got booted out... until now.

"I was depressed," she says, referring to that period the other week when she disappeared (which she played down at the time. She lied to us! How could she?). "You shouldn't have to go to work treading on eggshells. Keisha didn’t leave off her own back - me and Heidi couldn’t carry on. Before LA I disappeared for three days and I got to the point where I just couldn’t take any more. I needed to be on my own. Heidi completely supported me and knew what was going on within the band. But we all couldn’t work together anymore – we weren’t happy, me and Heidi, and it was a struggle to come into work to be honest, we didn’t enjoy it."

A struggle to come into work? She should try getting the Jubilee Line in the morning. We would save her a seat, BUT THERE AREN'T ANY.

As with most vicious bitchfights between women ages one to 100, Amelle thinks that it might all boil down to jealousy - which is a good chance for her to shoehorn in the fact that she had a number one hit with Tinchy Stryder, dontcha know. "Keisha and I went out after I got to number one and things looked OK to everyone else," she says. "But when you’re on the inside you know the truth. I honestly don’t know if she was jealous of my number one and everything else that has been happening for me. I don’t want to go into airing things and going back and forth because we are adults here and I want to move on and be happy."

Well, sorry, you can't yet, because there are still at least 27 more Sugababes who haven't had their say on all this.

YOU only have to look at that huge smile to see how chuffed JADE EWEN is about joining SUGABABES.

The new girl was followed around Los Angeles by photographers all day on Wednesday after replacing KEISHA BUCHANAN.

And not once did she stop grinning from ear to ear.

Jade is staying on in the US while bandmates AMELLE BERRABAH and HEIDI RANGE fly home today after shooting the video for comeback single About A Girl, out on November 9.

She is recording her vocals for the band's next album Sweet 7 so it's still ready for the original release date of November 23.

Now that's what I call an overnight star.

Sugababe Amelle Berrabah has spoken out publicly for the first time about Keisha Buchanan's departure from the band.

The singer, who sparked concern after disappearing for three days earlier this month, admitted that she felt "depressed" following a breakdown in her relationship with Buchanan.

"I was depressed. You shouldn't have to go to work treading on eggshells," she told The Mirror.

"Before going to LA, I disappeared for three days and I got to the point where I just couldn't take any more. I needed to be on my own. Even my own family couldn't get hold of me. I hit that wall."

The 25-year old, who replaced Mutya Buena in December 2005, claimed that fellow band member Heidi Range supported her in calls for Buchanan to be sacked from the group.

"Keisha didn't leave off her own back - me and Heidi couldn't carry on," she said.

"Heidi completely supported me and knew what was going on within the band. But we all couldn't work together anymore. We weren't happy, me and Heidi, and it was a struggle to come into work. We didn't enjoy it.

"We didn't think [management would]want to carry on when we said we'd had enough. We met Jade for the first time on Sunday and we all got on well, it seemed natural. It's totally different - we have started enjoying ourselves again and I do feel a bit relieved."

Sugababes release new album Sweet 7 on November 23.

Im team sugab4bes here, like Keisha was amazing but seriously Siobhan accused her of bullying, Amelle and Heidi have made it clear she could be a nasty person, and when Mutya was interviewed and said about Keisha being a bully she said "I wouldn't say she's a bully", the way she said it kind of insinuated that there was a not so nice side to her. As for the jealousy that sounds believable too, its fair enough for Keisha to mention how she supported the girls but to slip in that bit about celebrating with Amelle seems now like she was trying to prove a point.

Am I the only person who thinks the Sugababes would be perfect in some kind of America's Next Top Model/Eastenders/Gossip Girl type show?

Pack of crazy bitches the lot of them it seems. :heehee:

   hilarious!

God...this has all been so dramatic...i've been hooked right from the start! Im actually quite looking forward to hearing the new album now with Jade in it! And this comes from a former Sugababes fan (i thought their stuff since Mutya left has been on the whole quite unremarkable!).

I agree. I do like Keisha and she's always been the best singer IMO. She probably is a lovely person but I think she's just a nightmare to work with. Probably always wants her own way and I can imagine her getting jealous of Amelle due to her #1 and her seemingly getting pushed to the front of the Babes. It is still a shame it ended the way it did but I'm really excited for 4.0. :)

Keisha makes a rather simple return to twitter :heehee:

Also Reggie Yates [@REGYATES]

Interviewing the sugarbabes today! what the hell happened??! send me your questions NOWWWWW!about 2 hours ago from web

As much as I love Keisha, she really should of been fired years ago.I can imagine she'd be the girl in the group always telling others off for not doing things the way she thinks they should be done. But I think she''ll be amazing as a solo artist. She will always push herself to the max and put as much effort into her work as she can.

I really will miss her voice though.Sugababe songs and live performances will never be the same without her amazing ab-libs in the bridge and on the last chorus.

Reggie can't even spell Sugababes

Amelle Berrabah has claimed that Heidi Range deserves to be classed as an original Sugababe.

Fans have questioned whether the girlband should continue to use the name Sugababes following the recent departure of Keisha Buchanan, who was the only remaining founding member.

However, Berrabah has now pointed out that the group did not have their 2002 breakthrough hit 'Freak Like Me' until Range replaced Siobhan Donaghy.

Speaking to the Daily Star, she commented: "Heidi was in the Sugababes for the first number one so in my eyes she is an original bandmate."

The singer also assured fans that forthcoming album Sweet 7 will not be the final Sugababes release.

She said: "It's happy days now and there will definitely be more Sugababes after this album."

Eurovision star Jade Ewen was unveiled as Buchanan's replacement in the band earlier this week.

Hmm...

Hmm...

Urgh you bitch you beat me to posting news again

I hope thats a real one cause it sounds good and I agree with it ^_^

Well it's partly true, I never knew about Siobhan until I joined BJ..
They are actually at Radio 1 now. All 3 girls and Scott will be speaking to them soon. I'm so excited.
So Jade isn't staying in LA? She's gonna be on Radio 1 with the other 2

I thought Heidi just died her hair blonde as I thought she was Siobhan. (this was when I was a lot younger)
