I think it's stupid any fan going out of their way to slag off Heidi/ Amelle/ Jade, sending them messages etc.. They couldn't work with Keisha anymore, obviously because she isn't a nice person... if she was, she'd still be there... people need to get over the fact that shes gone and leave the current sugababes alone...

There are quite a few people who the babes have been a big part of their lives for the last 8/9years. To see a big part of that gone suddenly and without explanation isn't easy. Sure, she's been gone almost a week, but after 8 years of dedication it's gonna take more than a week for some people to accept that Keisha isn't there any more. It sounds silly, but for those who's fave member was Keisha it's pretty hard. They have to come to terms with not hearing her vocals on babes tracks anymore, not being able to see her sensational ad libs live again [which i still haven't gotten over] and the fact that she was pushed.

If she'd have quit i'm sure it would have been a far different reaction.

It just takes time. I'm sure most will come round eventually, but there will be the few who will always hate 4.0. I for one can not see myself joining the new official. Just after the way management have treated the fans, i'll miss all the guys an gals from it, but at the end of the day there are so many new people on it proclaiming hate for K and love for 4.0 that i just can't do it.

It's not rational, but when something that has been a huge part of your life for so long just ceases to exist it's hard. I'd have been utterly destroyed if it was Amelle who quit. I'm pretty much over K leaving apart from not seeing her live adlibing the babes tracks again, and i really want to know what happened and why she got the boot.

TEAMING ex-Sugababe Mutya Buena has branded two of the current line-up as a “pair of snakes”.

She hit out at Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah over their treatment of original Sugababe Keisha Buchanan.

But Mutya – who is so angry that she is now demanding the band is re-named – was not shocked at the way Keisha was forced out.

Mum-of-one Mutya quit the group –which she co-founded with Keisha, in 2005 – following the birth of her baby daughter.

And after seeing the first pictures of the latest line-up – with Eurovision songbird Jade Ewen replacing her old mate – she said: “It’s just so wrong. I phoned Keisha as soon as I heard what had happened.

“She is my friend. We grew up together. And it’s all been so harsh on her. She’s been really upset.

“But do you know what? She’ll pick herself up and realise that she is best off out of it.

“If the people you work with don’t show you the respect you deserve then you shouldn’t work with them.

“The music industry is full of snakes and sharks and Keisha had to work with two of its biggest snakes.

“Heidi should have backed Keisha. But there you have it. She didn’t. And who knows what might happen?

“They might decide to get rid of Jade in exactly the same way. Yeah, she’s a pretty girl – but that’s about it.

“The thing about her is she doesn’t say too much. You never know what she is really thinking.

“And as for Amelle, well, she’s no victim. All this talk about her being bullied is just rubbish.

“Trust me, she is a tough girl who is always running her mouth. But there are now no originals left in the band, so how can they call themselves the Sugababes? It’s a joke.

‘That was our name. Our manager used to call us his Sugababies.

“I find it all so wrong that they’d want to carry on under our name. Now it’s just a joke.”

Sexy Mutya, 24, showing off her stunning new figure following bum implants and a boob job courtesy of the Transform Cosmetic Surgery Group, believes that Heidi, 26, and Amelle, 25, will now become Jade’s backing singers.

Although she hasn’t met Keisha’s replacement she thinks she has a good voice, adding: “At the end of the day someone has got exactly what they wanted – and that was Keisha out and Jade in.

“None of it shocks or surprises me at all. Now I think they’re going to end up like Diana Ross and The Supremes. Heidi and Amelle will be Jade’s backing singers.

“It’s now all about what they look like, not what they sound like. I think before we definitely had the sound. We were raw. Now it’s going to be a lot more polished and manufactured.

“That’s why I feel so strongly about them dropping our name.”

Mutya is working on her new album, due out next year. And once Keisha, 24, has decided what she wants to do next, she would love it if they worked together again – possibly with original member Siobhan Donaghy, 25, joining them in the studio.

Mutya’s new single Fallin’ – a collabor-ation with Agent X and Ultra – is out today.

I had a good old chuckle last night. I turned over to a programme called Sugababes - From The Beginning, and the first line they sung when I turned over was 'Change! You don't see it coming'

I wouldn't say she isn't a nice person. I trust Leona Lewis' judgement and she wouldn't be friends with someone who wasn't nice. However, I do believe Keisha is difficult to work with in a group situation. She has her own mind and knows what she wants to do and probably doesn't want to compromise on that.

I have officially lost respect for Mutya, she use to seem so down to earth and now its just like Celebrity Big Brother, and using this split as a chance to get in the paper and promote herself as much as possible.
I absolutely love the new About a Girl - Jade's "woahhh" part is amazing! Much better than the Keisha version imo, and they've got a new fan in me!
Did anyone see Mutya on Shooting Stars? I used to find her really attractive, now I wouldn't touch it with someone else's. :puke:

Shooting Stars?

She's stunning, she looked fab on GMTV

I feel really bad for Heidi...people say what they would do but it is hard to put yourself on someone else's shoes.

It IS Heidi's job (her mode of living, after all, and she has responsibilities as a provider for herself/and or family)....also, I can't get over the fact that people are questioning wether she is a "true sugababe" or not......

Sure, she might be a replacement, but her vocals on "Freak Like Me" and "Stronger" drew me in to the Sugababes in the first place.

FUTURE: Sugababes as an entity will last for a few more albums before releasing the ultimate "GREATEST HITS", Keisha will have a moderately successful solo album and Mutya will continue slagging off people and adding to the erosion of the fact that she was once one of the UK's soul singers with most potential.

If thats true then those fans need to get a bloody life.

Mutya can p*** off too whats it gotta do with her, she hasn't spoke to the girls since she walked out and now shes oh so interested in Keisha again.

Whats more annoying about Mutya speaking out is Neither Keisha, Heidi or Amelle are going into any particular hate against eachother but Mutya is swaying sympathy towards Keisha wheras the babes dont have anyone to really defend them.

Mutya has actually spoken to Keisha since she left. Just not Heidi

I was indifferent to Mutya.

But as a person she did herself no favours when she appeared on CBB; and I don't think her appearance on this week's Shooting Stars would have endeared her to many neutrals either.

As for what has happened this week; I guess some posters would rather have no group remaining making great music then a group with none of the original line up.

It all reminds me of what happened with the legendary Rock Band Pink Floyd where bassist/lyricist Roger Waters firstly forced keyboardist Richard Wright out of the band; then he forced drummer Nick Mason out of the band leaving himself and an unhappy guitarist/tunesmith Dave Gilmour.

Roger Waters then announced to the world/the record company & management that the band was no more in 1984. But then got rather annoyed when the management and Dave Gilmour, Nick Mason & Richard Wright reformed the band in 1987. A bitter legal battle and war of words then took place. Whilst Roger Waters solo career was a damp squib but the Pink Floyd brand sold out stadiums all around the world despite then missing their main lyricist and lead singer.

Quote from BBC News story about this weeks charts:

Further down the chart, former Eurovision hopeful Jade Ewen scores her second solo hit of the year as My Man debuts at 35 - a placing that may reinforce the wisdom of her decision to join the Sugababes this week.

However, despite the acres of coverage given to the Sugababes split this week, the band have not seen a sales jump for their current single.

Get Sexy, the last record to feature founder-member Keisha Buchanan, drops five places to number 15.
