Awful sales for a GH :cry:

But hey., no promo whatsoever... what did we expect?

To be frank, I was expecting the album to sell well based on artist name alone, but that won't happen in the UK anymore I guess.

I didnt even buy it..and im a loyal brit fan, have all her albums, but i just thought this was a complete waste of time and a quick way for supporting Jive and there stupid idea!

well GH:MP DID quite well...especially in the UK, and that was in 2004, so actually the flopastic sales of TSC were kinda expected iMO.

Do the Box Set sales count towards this chart? As that could be the reason why it's got low sales? :unsure:

I hope you understand it's not Britney herself who decides that. It's the record company, and coming from JIVE, we already know even the most ridiculous thing can happen. She needs to leave JIVE asap, but it appears it won't happen anytime soon.

In the US, at least, the album gained in sales this week but still fell like 20 positions due to pretty much all other albums gaining too due to Black Friday/holiday sales.

 

First Britney album I haven't bought a physical copy of. :cry:

Well it was, but I don't think they actually managed to sell them all (probably because of the ridiculous starting price); I've seen it on play.com for £49 recently!

On HMV's website, the CD+DVD version is only £2.99 which has pushed it up to become the website's 2nd biggest selling product at the moment!
