I think Alejandro is a great 3rd single, especially for the summer! And it's smashing already so it could be one of the biggest hits of the year - maybe her Poker Face type hit of the era.

 

Not gonna happen, that was already Bad Romance. As others have said, I think this is more likely to do a Paparazzi, and DITD to then do an undeserved LoveGame :(

I think it all depends on the video. Telephone was a pretty average song that, with a great video, become a hit.

Not expecting a #1 but I think could go top 3 but as others it will probably have a Paparazzi chart run.

I see this era the same as the era with Poker Face, after all it is still The Fame, The Fame Monster is just a deluxe edition.

Video will come too late (again :rolleyes:), of course it won't hit #1 anywhere.

Just performed on Idol! Stream was bit f***ed up but it sounded ok.

 

Will wait and judge HD version properly :P

Vocally it was really good. Musically, I still cannot see the appeal in the song myself. Especially that performance of it. It's odd. It's like the life had been sucked out of that song in that performance. It wasn't as "bouncy" as the version on her album and stuff.

Her performance on American Idol was such a disappointement :o

Really, I'm SICK of listening to her playing the piano, it's like she has done it on every single performance, BORING.

The routine and the set up were quite cheap, not to talk about the vocals...

 

Oh, and basically she tried to do a "La isla bonita" part 2 with this performance. FAIL.

Nothing on last years performance.

Idol murdered it with their edit. I really didn't think much of it when watching the live stream but the full performance is much better without them chopping down the choruses.

 

I did think the piano Bad Romance was totally unnecessary. She should have just stuck to Alejandro.

I couldnt disagree more with all the comments above tbh. I thought it was an amazing performance :wub: I LOVE the acoustic Bad Romance at the begining too :heart:

Also.. does anyone know if there are any plans for any Alejandro TV promotion here in the UK? All I know is that she is in the country between May 27th and June 4th doing the rescheduled Monster Ball dates. :)

I thought the performance was decent... but nothing special.
