Dissapointing that working with Danja isn't mentioned and that Fantasy Ride didn't work out, was really an amazing album. I seriously doubt that this will be released in 2009, probably be 2011 if FR was anything to go by. I love the idea however of her becoming more of a solo artist than being featured with other artists.

Wow, is this real? They were aiming for a 2009 release? She only released "Fantasy Ride" early this year. I know it flopped, but that's mad. :lol: Interesting to see if she can pull off an album of solo songs, she's normally better with someone else on the track.

Shame 'Fantasy Ride' flopped so hard, I thought it was very good personally. :(

Maybe the fact that her albums, despite flopping somewhat special here, were actually major successes in the US. Plus believe it or not, 'Fantasy Ride' is her biggest album here LOL. :( She was amazing live, and I can't believe just how unerrated she is.

SHE SHOULD HAVE RELEASED WORK.

 

She needs to go back to the style that made her huge. AKA songs like 'Goodies', 'Oh", etc.

I'm well suprised she wasn't dropped. Releasing Pucker Up woulda done her favours.

Little update on whats happening with the album MTV Interview

Apparently there will be a new single at the end of April with the album being released in summer, a supposed Buzz track has leaked called "I'm up in the bank".

I was probably one of the few who loved 'Fantasy Ride'! Her lead singles are always growers though; well 'Promise' and 'Love Sex Magic' definetly were.

'Tell Me What Your Name Is' should have followed 'Work'.

 

Looking forward to hearing her new single though. Released end of April? Oh dear. Around the same time as Keri's supposed comeback LOL. They're gonna be forever stuck together aren't they? LOL

There's something about Ciara thats never properly clicked with me :( I really loved Like A Boy a few years back but Fantasy Ride did nothing for me. I will admit though that Work has grown massively on me these past few months. Love Sex Magic will forever be a bit vile though.

'Work' so should have been a mega smash. :( Totally amazing and very innovative for its genre too.

Innovative? It was almost a complete rehash of Lose Control! I like it a lot but it was pretty stale. The video was of course fabulous.

'Work' was one of my favourite songs of last year. Should've done far better than 'Love Sex Magic'. =[

I really liked 'Fantasy Ride' so I'm quite looking forward to this.

Work was good... It would have been nice if Radio got behind it, as the music channels certainly did which is why it peaked within the top 75...

A new song called "Speechless" has leaked and sounds pretty good, the new single is going to be called "Ride It" Ft. Ludacis. Heres a video of behind the Scenes: Ride It

Personally I think it sounds a bit dull to be the lead single, I dont doubt we could have another flop album on our hands :(.

Yes i agree it does sound a bit dull. She needs to go back to the old days. Her 1st album was great. Goodies, 1,2 step and Oh were great songs

Yeah I can kinda see where you are coming from, but to not release it as the follow up single to LS&M in America was RETARDED. Bad move on Jive...
