Right, take this example, which is mathematically impossible but still here to demonstrate. In this case, the potential wild-card from XI would be D, as it would have more tie-break points than C, and would go head-to-head with all of the other wild-card potentials of the other 9 contests using tie-break points (and has NO bearing on position within the contest on voting points - the wild-cards are intended to throw some of the love-hate ones in there, for example ones that get the favoured vote every time but aren't universally loved - your Money Notes, your Stanfours, your Inni Mer Syngur Vitleysingurs/Sabalis (which isn't eligible, I just mention to illustrate :P))

So, umm, XI has been removed because of XI. Hopefully whoever made it before still has it? or maybe they still have all the videos to make a new one? It's a bit of a shame if not, considering it'll likely be the one the least amount of people will have heard.

On another note, isn't nominating up to 10 quite a lot? The results could end up similar to the the results of the contest and we could just have the top 6 from each final making it? (though that kinda happened last year anyway)

I was thinking this but then I thought as it's only 1 or 2 points as opposed to 12-1 points it may be slightly different.. plus considering they were the most successful, it'd be odd if it wasn't most of the top 10 going through.. but this wildcard thing may throw some more unexpected ones into it anyways ^_^ ..

I agree. I'd be inclined to take it back to 5, as it forces you to pick the ones you really want to support the most...otherwise people might just end up copying and pasting their votes from the final of each contest

I'd prefer to see it lower than 10, and sometimes I'm not overly keen on the song that's my 10th fave. Where as I've probably listened to my Top 5 from each contest more than just during the contest.
