I have just downloaded the new iTunes... how do I get popularity bars?

The new iTunes doesn't have any on Top Song list :nocheer:

Good grief :o Alexandra Burke #1 already, Robbie will end up very close as well by tonight

Close to what?!?! A safe no.2 lol!

I'm not so sure Cheryl will make #1 to be honest on the back of Alexandra, if Alexandra's sales are high next week, it be difficult to topple Alexandra, just on an X Factor performance, not everyone will get a #1 track from performing on the X Factor show.

You can't really predict Cheryl to be the next #1 until the sales are in.

Alexandra could easily be on 45k plus on Tuesdays mids, since Sun/Mon sales are usually high on the first mid update.

I think it will be a battle next week between them!

If Alex does about 140k this week and holds up to 100k, it will be close!

But I expect Cheryl to do about that also! She has huge hype, the #1 celeb in the UK atm, a decent catchy song, ok video and an XFactor performance = BIG sales will follow!

Yeah, you can't even attribute it to the X-Factor effect.... considering she hasn't even performed there yet. lol.
And yeah, next week with be interesting. Alex will have to promote like crazy but if she can hold cheryl off then she deserves BIG credit for that.
I imagine 'Bad Boys' sales will decrease a lot to 90k in its second week, then 'Fight For This Love' does 100k. Just my imagination.

How do I get my old iTunes! Nooooooooooooo!

I think Cheryl will beat Alex next week. FFTL combines the big name with an iconic pop song. I'm not a big fan of Cheryl, but I know a great track when I hear one!

Yeah I think she could do about 95k, and i suspect Cheryl will get above that!

I think it's fairly safe to say it'll be Alex this week and Cheryl next, then JLS, then Leona (she's out on 8/11 right?).

Sales are harder to predict, and also I reckon Alex will fall to #3 next week behind Robbie who will stay at #2 and Cheryl who will debut at #1.

If Chipmunk can do 35k on a Tues mid update, surely Alexandra is going to pass 50k plus probably more, she could end up 200k for the week, its a tall order for Cheryl the week after, me thinks.

And judging by the popularity bars so far, Alexandra is not going to budge an inch, it will take dynamite

I just can't wait to see the sales this week :D

I don't think JLS have a very strong chance of #1. Cheryl and Alex are both going to be selling way more than JLS ever could, and YSR are rumoured to be going crazy on promo in their second week. I still oubt they could do it, Cheryl is too strong.

If Alex is going to pass 200k, she'll need to do WAY more than 50k by Tues mids. Dizzee and JLS (the only two 100k #1s this year so far) both did around 45k by Tues and they only got a little over 100k.

I think JLS will probably do another 100k-ish with EIL, and I still think they'll go to #1 then be knocked off by Leona. YSR will probably peak at around #3, debuting at #4 behind Alex, Robbie and Cheryl and then climbing to #3 behind Cheryl and JLS.

Well I expect JLS will do the same week 1 sales with EIL as BA. It's not confirmed JLS are performing X Factor, I've read somewhere that they definitely won't be.

I think after tonight Alex's pop bars will shoot up and she could clear 200k at the weeks end. Robbie will be #2 with a sizeable lead over Chipmunk.

Cheryl will sell about 90-100k first week and I'm not sure if that'll be enough to hold Alex off.

If Alex is going to pass 200k, she'll need to do WAY more than 50k by Tues mids.

I'm just thinking out loud at the moment, like when Leona Lewis released Bleeding Love, after a long wait to release her material, it has been a while since Alexandra has been in the charts.

105. Papillon - Editors

So that's gonna go top 100 soon then.

Seven (eight if you count Robbie twice) brand new releases all top 100 in one week :o Possibility that all will go top 40 as well, though I'm not too sure about Gracious K. Editors have their album out tomorrow which should give Papillon a substantial boost, and Alex, Robbie, Michael, Mr Hudson and Lostprophets are guaranteed top 40 methinks.
