Definitely Little Boots for me, though I do still like a few La Roux songs.. just nowhere near as much.

Im not sure I like every song, I think the first half of the album is a LOT better than the second half. That may just be me though lol

La Roux by miles and miles.

La Roux, Elly's got a lot more personality and originality than Little Boots. Although, both are great, I like literally every La Roux song whereas with Boots I like only a handful. Boots comes across extremely bland as a character and her music videos really don't meet the standards of her songs, AT ALL. La Roux is also the better live artist, La Roux doing so much better saleswise shows whose the more popular artist but Little Boots is as popular as any girl group on Buzzjack where La Roux seems to have a constantly growing hate club growing on here. ;(

I picked La Roux at this one, their music is quite catchy and great.

 

Little Boots' though is really good too just a little less weaker IMO.

 

But I think I'll change my mind about that. I'm getting more used to the LB album.

I used to LOVE Little Boots immensely and don't like La Roux that much. I listened to "Hands" on repeat all June/ early July long. Then I got into La Roux album and listened to it on repeat all July/August long. :lol:

Both are amazing, I still voted for LB though.

La Roux for as i love bulletproof

This one was insanely difficult for me a few months back - now it is very very solidly La Roux. She gets far too much stick purely because she doesn't stick to the boring 'praise everything' model for interviews, and quite frankly it's ridiculous - why shouldn't she criticise what she doesn't like? Even if you don't agree with her, surely you appreciate she has a right to an opinion, and if she's asked about it, why shouldn't she express it? It's not like she's commissioning interviews for the sake of slagging people off, she's being asked questions and she's giving her views - I don't necessarily agree with everything she says, but she's a hell of a lot more interesting than your average dull-as-dishwater popstar. Oh, and her album's a hell of a lot better than Bootsy's anyway, even if I do adore Hands La Roux does have the second best album of the year IMO...I just think the hatred she gets is partly sexist. When Oasis would criticise other groups back in the 90s they'd get kudos etc. for giving their views. As soon as a female popstar does it she earns the wrath of the world seemingly...

La Roux is AWFUL imo. They just don't appeal to me as much as Little Boots. Elly's voice is the worst thing I've heard all this year. So annoying and grating. Little Boots however, is alot more pop and more what I'm into. I can listen to her album without skipping any song.

Boots with all my heart for all the fantastic pop tunes.

Not only is Hands a much better album than La Roux, Boots isnt an attention seeking twat with the biggest ego since god knows when.

I wonder if La Roux was all hot and pretty would the reaction be different? :lol:

 

I am 50/50 tbh. Boots has slightly more that I like but she just seems void of personality whilst La Roux has the entire package. Doesn't matter if she mouths off and is a pain in the ass, it's the music that is important to me.
