Rachel - Let Me Entertain You 8

 

Wow. I love the VV Brown meets Rihanna look. But that was a very confident start to the Final 12 shows. If she is in the bottom 2 it will be a travesty.

Great start to the show. Dire show choice but Rachanna owned that stage! :dance:

Rachel - I'm was not convinced with that performance, I'm sure at the start of the song you couldn't hear the words as if they were mumbled, wrong song choice for her, out of all the Robbie singles catalogue had to use "Let Me Entertain You"

Rachel: Despite the dire song choice she carried it off brilliantly. The whole VV Brown thing she has going is amazing looking aswell. She better not be bottom 2 or I shall never forgive Dannii Minogue.

Yeah for me, the song itself brought down the score a bit for me......but considering she almost made me really like it when the song was so wrong that counts for alot. I hope she can do well in the voting :)

 

I changed her score to 7, that's what I wrote down for her orginally but changed it when I posted it here.......She got that 1 extra for the potential she showed :)

'Let Me Entertain You' would have actually suited John and Edward far more. Rachel should probably have had 'Feel' or 'Eternity' or something.

I MADE IT! Great start to the show :wub: She looks like a star, I'm gonna start doing the ratings:

 

Rachel :: A very good start to the show, but the song didn't showcase what is so good about her. She looked fantastic though, and she was in tune for most of it...she just needs a song that's going to show what she's capable of. 7.5/10

When Louie was saying it was a sexy show for the boys........for some reason I thought he was going to say John and Edward :puke2:

I like Kandi Rain, although they remind me a lot of that Pussycat band, can't think of the name.

Before I comment on the girls, I have to say I LOVE the whole montages (introduction things) this year :o

 

Decent performance by them actually. I really hope they get another chance to improve as they have potential.

Kandy Rain :: They're not strippers apparently. Like the judges said, they're not getting rid of their image and they look like tarts. They're pretty average, and I can see them going tonight. 6/10

Unsurprisingly, more like the Tina Turner or (showing my age) Pepsi & Shirlie cover version than the Robert Palmer original. Not bad at all in a PCD minus Nicole dating F1 World Champ way. But Dannii & Cheryl's critiques are spot on IMHO.

Kandy Rain: I thought it was a very bland performance, I'm pretty sure most guys won't have even noticed they're singing it was dominated by other things. Very average 5/10

they didnt look that bad bit of over-reacting by cheryl n dannii i think they sang better then i thought they would aswell

Kandy Rain - Should have changed their track, and not dressed like four tarts going on a night out, nearly put me off eating my dessert. 5/10, could do a lot better.
