Posted October 14, 200915 yr Cheryl: "I Will Be Singing Live" The X Factor judge has claimed she will NOT mime on Sundays results show... Cheryl Cole has rubbished claims that she is going to mime on this weekend's episode of The X Factor. The Girls Aloud beauty, who is due to perform her debut solo single Fight For This Love live for this first time, has confirmed that she will pre- record the performance complete with live vocal before the show airs on Sunday night. Chezza has stated: "I really don't see the problem. I will be singing live. I just won't have time to get changed and get prepared for the performance, and be a judge on the show. It would be too hectic." The X Factor judge, who performed The Promise with the rest of Girls Aloud on last year's show has also revealed that she is 'absolutely terrified' about her first solo performance. Mrs. Cole claimed: "I love performing but I've sat for weeks judging people and now I'm putting myself out there to be judged." As well as Cheryl taking to the stage, legend Whitney Houston is also scheduled to perform on the ITV show on the same night. No pressure Cheryl! Keep it MTV News… http://www.mtv.co.uk/artists/cheryl-cole/n...be-singing-live So, is it true? Is it false?
October 15, 200915 yr I think she will sing live, I think the chorus will be heavily backed but the verses will be her, as long as she does a good performance she will be alright
October 16, 200915 yr Im confused Is her vocals only recorded or are they going to show a totally recorded one where she is not even standing there live as we are watching it. Anyway i don't care if she mimes her song is great. Edited October 16, 200915 yr by Jmh123
October 16, 200915 yr the whole performance will be pre-recorded! still don't get how people don't get the idea of what is an pre-recorded perfomance :S it's been done before (on X Factor too)!
October 17, 200915 yr Take That did it last year with 'Greatest Day' coz the day they were meant to be on X-Factor, they were rehearsing or filming for their christmas special show thing.
October 17, 200915 yr ya i dont see the big deal with her pre recording it, however i would not be happy if she mimed it, i know she is now singing live but if she didnt i think it would have looked very bad for her to be on a talent show that she is mentor then mime.
October 17, 200915 yr Austin Drage was on Live From Studio Five yesterday criticising her for miming  He obviously knows nothing and clearly doesn't get the concept of pre-recording and holds a very big grudge. Talking of pre-recording, was Live From Studio Five, or Strictly It Takes Two pre-recorded as both had Bonnie Tyler in different outfits on within 15 minutes

October 18, 200915 yr I dont agree in any way with miming on a talent show, look at britney last year on x factor she mimed and mimed so badly it was embarrasing.
October 18, 200915 yr Take That did it last year with 'Greatest Day' coz the day they were meant to be on X-Factor, they were rehearsing or filming for their christmas special show thing. Miley Cyrus pre-recorded aswell I think... I'm not bothered if it's only part live. But it will be a bit hypocritial of her to slate some of the contestants who sing LIVE and then she goes out and MIMES.
October 18, 200915 yr Author RyanJL Apparently Cheryl WILL sing live and some/all of GA are there to support her...hmm hope its true! I hope it is :P Oh wait.... NicolaRobertsUK ANNOUNCEMENT: GA'S NICOLA, KIMBERLEY, SARAH WILL ALL BE THERE TONIGHT AT THE X FACTOR, SUPPORTING CHERYL'S PERFORMANCE! OMGOMGOMG Edited October 18, 200915 yr by Theo Aloud
October 18, 200915 yr I thought the other girls has been banned from going :heehee: I would be petrified. I'm still a bit confused about how this pre-recorded performance works. What do the audience see while we watch the performance? And how do they manage to link into it on a live show?
October 18, 200915 yr from ad to ads in the performance part would have been slotted in, and the crowd would have just watched the big screen. Simples! http://amyhoare.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/meerkat1.jpg And can I just say AMAZING
