November 22, 201113 yr Kelly's in Paris shooting "Keep It Between Us" video with Lance Gross. http://i39.tinypic.com/sv4f4k.jpg
November 23, 201113 yr What an awful choice, Feeling Me Right Now, or Turn It Up need to be released.
November 29, 201113 yr #54 in the midweeks! Doing even worse than Ms. Kelly (and quite frankly, making Sophie Ellis-Bextor's last album look successful )
November 29, 201113 yr When Love Takes Over is on this? WHAT? I'm embarrassed for her tbh. The tracklist reads like a greatest hits collection with lots of rubbish rnb bonus tracks tagged on. EDIT: Having said that, that advert makes me want to buy it :( :(
November 29, 201113 yr I'm quite surprised it's only #54 in the midweeks! I was expecting a top 20 debut.
November 29, 201113 yr I don't think many people will know the album's out... once she's performed on X Factor, it'll shoot up :)
November 29, 201113 yr I don't think many people will know the album's out... once she's performed on X Factor, it'll shoot up :)This once she perfoms on x factor it should at least get a top 20 debut
November 30, 201113 yr Universal have paid for an advert to promote the album in 'prime time' ! The album is bombing hopefully the x factor will help it...... The single is hanging on to a top 10 position!
November 30, 201113 yr 09 I'm Dat Chick 08 Work It Man 09 Motivation 10 Lay It On Me 09 Feeling Me Right Now 08 Turn It Up 05 All Of The Night 05 Keep It Between Us 08 Commander 11 Down For Whatever 05 Heaven In Earth 07 Each Other 08 When Love Takes Over 09 Rose Colored Glasses 02 Motivation (Diplo Remix) 07 Forever & A Day 02 What A Feeling I bought this today. Its such a shame that its flopping, I actually love it. I even prefer it to (controversial opinion) 'Talk That Talk'. 'I'm Dat Chick', 'Motivation', 'Rose Colored Glasses' and obviously 'Lay It On Me' and 'Down For Whatever' are the highlights. Its crammed with fillers, and some tracks sound very dated but they're still great none-the-less.
November 30, 201113 yr Oh you two are not - I've loved it since the first listen; it's all the usual people hating it that are offended by pop music that includes any non-generic pop element to it!
November 30, 201113 yr I'm Dat Chick is a huge grower - I was like 'WHAT? Shit.' at first but it's grown to one of my faves on the album :o The album as a whole is slowly growing on me now as well, after initially being VERY disappointed upon the US release.
November 30, 201113 yr 'I'm Dat Chick' is horrendous. As is the whole album bar 'Motivation' (and 'Lay It on Me'/'Feeling Me Right Now' to some extent).
December 4, 201113 yr It will climb after XF though, even if only a little bit to just scrape top 40. Still pretty shocking for a woman on prime time Saturday TV every week.
December 6, 201113 yr This has climbed to 30 in this weeks midweeks, single is at 8! Im really suprised by this as she seems so popular on the show and her single done well too!! Lay It On Me with its early release next year could make sure do remain steady? Her album seems to be doing well digitally but not physically. I guess she also lost out on a few thousand sales due to fans buying the american version months ago!
December 26, 201113 yr Got the American Deluxe Edition today. Listening to it now, it's a real mixed bag I think. 06.5 I'm Dat Chick 09.0 Work It Man (feat. Lil Playy) 03.0 Motivation (feat. Lil Wayne) 08.5 Lay It On Me (feat. Big Sean) 10.0 Feeling Me Right Now 08.0 Turn It Up 07.0 All Of The Night (feat. Rico Love) Not got through the rest of them yet. I'm hoping to buy the UK edition tomorrow, depending on the price in HMV or Tesco. :) ETA: The rest of the ratings: 08.0 Keep It Between Us 09.5 Commander 10.0 Down For Whatever 10.0 Heaven N Earth 08.0 Each Other Edited December 26, 201113 yr by MarthaJonesFan
