Jack would be good as it would really stir up things with him and max and ronnie, i too cant understand why Sean Slater is the bookies faveourite unless the cast dont know he is back until tomorrow and thats why the cast members dont know who killed Archie,

I love it though that we dont know the killer and i think it would be great if we never knew what was happeing until we see the episodes as it would add far more excitement all the soap mags take the exciting edge out of soaps alot of times,

Latest (rather crazeeee) odds at William Hill:

Sean 11/4 (2.75/1)

Ben 7/2 (3.5/1)

Becca 6/1

Joel (Ronnie's ex) 7/1

Ryan 8/1

Jean (:D) 8/1

Peggy 10/1

Shirley 12/1

Jack 16/1

Grant 16/1

Stacey 20/1

Sam 25/1

Roxy 25/1

Glenda 25/1

Ronnie 33/1

Phil 40/1

Billy 40/1

I love how Janine isn't featured in those odds there. I actually don't know who it could be now :o I'm slightly leaning towards Ryan or Glenda (still). I don't think it was Phil, Ian, Janine, Bradley or Ronnie though. Could be Jack or Stacey as well

Someone on my Facebook is insisting that apparantly Sean was seen in the background in a baseball cap, during the Janine/Jack/Ryan argument. I didn't notice tbh, and I can't be arsed to trawl through the episode again.

I just looked back at that because I'm sad and it did look a bit like him, but pretty sure it wasn't him.

At 7.30 tonight (half an hour before it begins) Diederick is taking aside the actor who plays the killer to tell them it's them and give them time to prepare. And it's being filmed for the BBC3 reaction show with George Lamb! Certainly going to be interesting to see how whoever it is reacts.

Also DS have a photo of the entire cast read-through. Very surreal.

Love the read through pics. Mad to see them all together!

I know some people dont believe the cast don't know as they film so far in advance but...

I'm 99% sure now Bradley will die with everyone believing he is the murderer and the police effectively saying 'case closed'.

Apparently Lacey isn't too well today either - hopefully she'll be ok, I expect she has some big scenes tonight.

Eee Im actually really excited! and there is an aftermath show after on BBC3 haha

I agree with you on that Ryan.

Ben Mitchell has become the surprise favourite to be revealed as Archie Mitchell's killer in tonight's live episode of EastEnders.

The unlikely suspect, played by young actor Charlie Jones, now has odds of 11/4 with William Hill following strong support from punters over the past 24 hours.

Yesterday's favourite Sean Slater (Rob Kazinsky) follows closely behind at 7/2. The troubled character being unveiled as the murderer would also be a shock as he has been absent from screens since January 2009.

Jean Slater (5/1) and Becca Swanson (6/1) are the next two biggest suspects in the betting.

Meanwhile, Ronnie Mitchell's first love Joel Reynolds has now made a late appearance in the market with one gambler placing a substantial bet on the character at 33/1. Since the bet, William Hill have slashed his odds to 7/1.

In other news, Dot Branning, Heather Trott, Minty Peterson and Ian and Jane Beale are currently the main outsiders, with each being available for bets at 100/1.

I'm thinking it'll be someone who hasn't been focused on much, but that's difficult because pretty much ALL of the main suspects have been interrogated or arrested at some point. Jack doesn't really seem much of a suspect in the show itself so I'm hoping it WON'T be him but fear it will be... especially with the Bradley connection.

BEN?.....

what an effing JOKE....

but thats what ee does best... take the most ridiculous conclusion to finish a storyline and youve got it... christ we JOKED about ben being the one for that very reason...

god bring back the writers who wrote the great storyline concluding in the revelation as to who was the father to michelles baby... now THATS how to write a 'whodunnit', shocking but realistic.

Surely it'll be considered a major letdown if it doesnt turn out to be one of the major suspects though? And realistically speaking aswell, it can only be one of Ronnie, Peggy, Phil, Sam, Ian, Jack, Janine or Bradley.

I think it's pretty safe to say it's not Janine tbh - arrested twice, previous killings, screaming about being framed. It's all TOO obvious if it's her. I don't think it'll be Phil for the same reason. Sam would be dull as she's not even in the show at the moment and it'd have no repercussions for anyone, and I don't think it's Bradley or Ian.

So that leaves Ronnie, Peggy or Jack. The first two would be good.

I still think it could easily be Roxy tbh.

No, I dont believe it to be Janine either. She actually does seem to love him for some reason. Ronnie aswell really, should be crossed off the list after that scene in the laundrette with Dot. Ian and Phil are outside chances aswell. And surely they wouldnt risk Daniella Westbrook in a live episode?

Roxy however was at home with Amy when the murder happened. It could be her, but it would be shockingly bad editting by EE if it is.

My own prediction which i've pretty much had since a few episodes after Christmas is Peggy.

Oh yeah Roxy was at home :\ For some reason I think they've just completely skirted around her, no one's even considered pointing the finger at her in EE... when she did sort of have a motive. It makes me think it could be her, but then yeah, she was at home.

I'm sure Roxy wasn't with Amy at home. I do remember Roxy giving Amy to Stacey to look after...

Nope, if you remember seconds before Archie died when they showed all the suspects out and about, Roxy was with Amy at Jack's, she went out to find Ronnie who had vanished...
I think it's Stacey or Peggy..
I'm also going with Ryan's theory. I also reckon

the killer is Jack, and Bradley will find out just before he dies. I'm also feeling sure that Bradley's death will have something to do with Becca.
