I thought Phil's was alright, typically cold and emotionless unlike the rest of them would have been - I wouldn't have liked it to have been Ryan (not keen on the character) and what motive would Max have had for doing it?

I really find it strange when Amira calls Zainab and Masood 'Mum' and 'Dad'.

 

Interested to see how the Mas and Syed relationship ends up when the truth about Syed comes out. Literally :P

Oh and I can't stand much more of Binnit and Whitney with a H.

Billie and Whitney are proving a truly dreadful combo aren't they? Bringing out the worst in each other. I particular hate seeing Whitney as this faux-ghetto creature.

 

I find it really jarring when Amira (who by the way is looking absolutely incredible lately!) calls them mum and dad too, but I think it's really sweet, it just takes some getting used to.

I'm hating Billie already. Partly because I hated Devon Anderson in Hollyoaks, and his character is almost exactly the same in Eastenders; a cocky arrogant brat up to no good!

It will be interesting to see how he works out on the show, given Bryan Kirkwood fired him from Hollyoaks a couple of years ago for poor timekeeping and sloppiness!

I also find it weird when Amira calls her husband's parents mum and dad, it just sounds so false. I think the Masoods are my favourite family. Zainab is brilliant (the birth scene :wub: ), Tamwar is hilarious, Masood has some good one-liners and Syed is gorgeous, but a bit breathy and huffy when acting. Amira can go away pls.

Amira is amazing! Definately one of my favourites. Along with Jean, Stacey, Ryan, Janine, Masood, Zainab, Ronnie & Roxy. Tamwar reminds me a bit of how Bradley was when he first arrived on the square... Not sure what to think of him at the moment, but i'm predicting a pretty big future ahead of him. He needs to turn out more like Bradley, but I can see them teaming and doubling him up with Lucy and him becoming the new Ian Beale! :drama:

I love Amira as well an dim so dispaointed she is leaving, my other big faves on the show are Tiffany, Carol, Bianca, Ricky,Jean, Stacey, Max, Ronnie, Roxy and Janine.

I like Amira; she's like a less whiny version of Shabnam. I'm quite disappointed

that she's off soon, as I really think there'd be SO much potential for her after the Syed/Christian inevitable reveal.

I hope Amira doesn't just

leave with a whimper after the reveal. I don't like her as a character, but I'd like her exit to be pretty explosive and possibly let us see an aggressive/exciting side to her before she goes.

Amira is one of those less common characters who is interesting and engaging despite being rather plain and uncontroversial which is always nice. Not everybody can have a Ronnie gob on them. It's definitely a shame that she's going but perhaps she could return if (when) the pop career fails.

 

People on DS seem to think that Simone James who plays Becca had dental work done that day :heehee: They could just have written that into the episode though!

I find it worrying that people are paying attention to such things. I find Digital Spy useful for gossip and updates if I've missed an episode, but GOD their forums are a haven of loondom.

In all fairness I just wanted to know if I was the only one who was loving Our Heavenly One. And I was not the only one! That is because she is AMAZING.
