Some Mitchell stuff coming up - intrigued as to why a certain someone is helping the other person >

Elsewhere, Danny sabotages a pump at The Vic in a bid to help Peggy; Roxy's left to clean up the mess; when Danny returns from lunch with Peggy, it's clear that Roxy's beginning to crack under the pressure; Peggy realises that she has a new ally in Danny; Roxy relents and eventually asks Peggy for help; and Danny manages to convince Roxy to keep The Queen Vic bust on the bar.

Still scheming with Peggy, Danny tries to persuade Roxy to buy Booty, the closed-down salon once run by Tanya, in the opening visit of the week to Walford.

Jumping at the bait, Roxy rushes in only to find herself competing against a rival bidder.

Things heat up at the auction in tonight's episode of the long-running drama as Roxy goes well over budget in her determination to outbid her rival for the Booty salon.

Roxy

blowing the money already then. Deary me. I did read why Danny is helping Peggy but it's escaped my mind now.

She bails him out of jail after he gets into a fight, according to What's On TV

With what money exactly? Continuity in the soaps when it comes to money is just dreadful!

Carol / Billy I just don't see ever working as a couple. Carol's far too no-nonsense to even tolerate a buffoon like Billy!

The Whitney/Billie saga continues to bore. Phil/Shirley actually make quite a nice double act now there's no hidden agenda for either of them. Zsa Zsa and Shirley trying to successively seduce Mr Allcock was a highlight. Melissa Suffield continues to be GOOD :o

An OK episode.

I agree about carol and billy it would never work and there is no way she would put up with his stupidity at times, they just aint suited at all. Likewise the Billy and Whitney thing isnt much and its more screen filler than killer.

Im loving the max and carol scenes as im also enjoying lucy with the pregnany storyline which is strange as usually Lucy annoys me.

Unless I've just got the wrong end of the stick there's no question of Carol and Billy being an item is there? I just took it as her agreeing to a date because it was an oppurtunity to eat out for free. :heehee: Certainly after he walked her home it didn't seem like there'd be a repeat date in future?
I'm loving Lucy atm, think she is going to grow to be a great character in the future.
Something else that continuity runs awry in is the number of bedrooms in some of the houses in Albert Square. How many are in the Vic? How many in Pat's place? They seem to house a multitude of people.
I'm loving Lucy atm, think she is going to grow to be a great character in the future.

Yeah, Lucy has real potential. She could be the next Janine.

Spoiler/Rumours

Something coming up re; Ronnie finding a little girl lost and knowing who her father is - rumours it's Phils daughter Louise. Not sure how true.

Also lack of spoilers for March 26th suggest the Max and Stacey two-hander will air that night :)

It's becoming a theme - Lucy Beale is becoming a character I like to see more off! Mel and Lauries scenes are great.

How the hell did that Fatboy get a) cast and B) invited into the main show. :puke2:

Does Leon just walk around with his bag? Ugh. Pray Brian Kirkwood axes them.

As for the Balham Trio - oh dear.

Ok. Much to say about that one.

Very disappointed after a strong 15 mins to begin with.

Seriously as if we needed the Balham Trio and Whitney acting like a dumb bitch driving round the square. Ugh.

I understand JoJo was giving birth etc and couldnt film but seriously? We're to believe she was outside with her new man? f*** off. Tanya was not that cold-hearted. [ignore burying Max please]

As for Stacey - well I'm gutted she didnt have the final shot at the grave.

Giving Julias theme [btw not liking the 2010 mix] to Rachel just screamed we're desperate to use it.

Jake Wood fabulous. Patsy P - her first scene on the square set me off.

Overall, well really disappointed. :(

I was really expecting Stacey at the end of the episode, bit disappointing.

And those 3 loons in that car was a bit off putting due to the light of the episode, got a funny feeling there is going to be a story surrounding them coming up.

There is Mikey. It culminates in

Jack being shot with Billie's gun.

I didn't mind the chav lot. You can't have an episode completely filled with misery. I think that was the best episode since the live ep actually. It was exceptionally poignant and they even managed to play Becca seducing Max well. It was all surprisingly believable.

The highlight for me though was Jane with Lucy, and yesterday Jane with Max really touched me. Laurie Brett has been incredible this week.

I was sure Stacey would show up tonight and was disapointed that she didnt, the writers should have had her involved in the funeral,
Preeya Kalidas has filmed her final scenes now and we'll see Amira depart on April 26th. Sooner than I was expecting!
