October 24, 200915 yr I think we definitely need songs to start either being released at the same time worldwide or to be released the day it premieres. (like Crying Lightning, and sort of like Bad Romance) would never happen, acts are too hungry for their #1 opening again these days...look what happened to Arctics, it couldn't even reach the top ten not that it would have bothered them, but for pop acts, a #12 opening and then a few weeks in the top 40 wouldn't be preferable to a 1-6-14 etc...run because they would get the initial chart topping boost
October 24, 200915 yr Who are these up and coming acts that you are talking about? Are you forgetting that some of today's new artists would be nowhere without the internet? I think the thing is I am not willing to pay for one random song that I like from an artist I don't support. This debate could go on forever no one is right no one is wrong.
October 25, 200915 yr If you wanted to collect books would you think it was OK to steal some as long as you also bought some? Presumably not so why is stealing music any different?
October 25, 200915 yr Nothing you say is going to stop me downloading music illegally. It is better in my pocket that Simon Cowells so get over it.
October 25, 200915 yr Nothing you say is going to stop me downloading music illegally. It is better in my pocket that Simon Cowells so get over it. Not all music is made by Simon Cowells acts. Although I buy some music most of mine is illeally downloaded as I just can't afford to buy all the music that i want to listen too on my iPod. I do hope they do something though to stop it, 'cause by then we should have Spotify on our mobiles and we won't need to download anything :)

That songs that are performed on the X Factor which gain popularity from doing so rarely are owned by Simon Cowell? Christ, who are you, Louis Walsh?

October 25, 200915 yr Oh I was being sarcastic lighten up you sound very bitter about life. I think you need to lighten up - not everyone agrees with your opinion, you know.
