This is a dance song, I'm not sure what it's doing in Rnb, Hip-Hop, Soul?

 This... A dance song? This is the funniest dance song I've ever heard in my life  . Or are there two versions?

By the way, I really like this :) , and I hope it does well.

Europe got the far superior album version whilst the UK apparantly got a "Guetta-esque" dance remix which starts off like the original untl the first chorus. Then it all changes and becomes something it shouldn't. :( The success of 'I Like' all over Europe is deserved imo. Easily Keri's best song but typically it's the "featuring Kanye West" and, imo, quite average 'Knock You Down' that will always be her biggest UK hit. Take away Kanye and that song would've bombed. You knows it!!! :w00t:

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the same, I always thought it was overrated. It was alright, I just didn't quite get the hype.

I even preffered 'Return The Favour' to it.

'Return The Favour' is definitely better than 'Knock You Down'. Deserved so much more.

I've not heard the dance version. I've only heard the RnB version, and I really like the RnB version. Why do we have to get the ruined version? With promotion, I think the RnB version would have the potential to be successful as its a beautiful song :) .

Knock You Down knocks ten shades out of Return The Favour. One is a pin sharp, ultra classy, effortless R&B pop crossover and one is a reheated Shock Value reject.

The UK radio edit of 'I Like' is so much better imo. I think it adds so much more to the song and makes it more appealing. Also, I disagree on 'Knock You Down'. It's one of those songs I can never tire of, no matter how many times I listen to it. Yeah, Kanye and Ne-Yo were a helping hand, but the song really wouldn't have worked as just a solo or something. It was made for those three (and no-one else) imo and it worked incredibly well. Could have been a disaster, with 3 popular names on the same record, but it works.

I genuinely am stumped at people saying they prefer 'Return The Favor' over it  Like, seriously? RTF is easily one of the worst tracks (although it's good for what it is - a generic, Timbaland produced song) on 'In A Perfect World' :(

Defenitely agree with you. Much better!

I'm glad I ain't drinking the same as what you lot seem to be drinking! :(

Knock You Down >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Return The Favour. End of.

Anyway, I Like is out on UK iTunes :w00t: Bought it

I'm definitely with you Jonjo. Knock You Down remains fantastic for me - the combination of all three of them together, all with great parts that are essential to the song in their own ways  Return The Favor is completely pedestrian in comparison, I'd rather listen to half of that fake Ms. Keri thing over it

Also agree on I Like, I actually much prefer the dancier UK radio mix myself, makes it punchier and interesting for me.

Forget "Knock You Down" and "Return The Favour". "Energy" and "Turnin' Me On" are better than both of them combined. Oh and "I Like" RnB version > "I Like" Dance version

 Jo. RTF

Return The Favour >>>>>> I Like >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Energy >>>>>>>> Turnin' Me On >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Knock U Down

I'd pretty much completely reverse that list :o

Return The Favor is definitely last for me anyway...

For me:

Knock You Down >> I Like >> Turning Me On >>>>>>> Energy >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Return the Favour.

Haven't heard the 'dance' version of 'I Like' yet, but judging by what you guys are saying I won't be in a rush to!

GIRL please

Its so obviously

01 Knock You Down

02 I Like

03 Energy

------------------------

04 Turning Me On

05 Return The Favour

Oh, if I must:

01. Knock You Down (probably one of my favourite songs ever)

02. Turnin Me On (14th most played on my iTunes)

03. I Like (different for her, would be just outside my top 5 Keri songs)

04. Return The Favour (under rated. it's a bit generic but I love the bridge)

05. Energy (used to love this, but it got a bit bland when I got the album)

06. Slow Dance (would probably be in my bottom three from the album)

So when was this actually released?! Surprised to see it go top 100 on iTunes even. Might finally get around to charting it. :heehee:
