"The Wait Is Ova" - 2nd Single

 

According to one of the RihannaDaily.com sources and adressa.no, "The Wait Is Ova" is the 2nd single of Rihanna's upcoming album "Rated R".

 

Mikkel Eriksen and Stargate produced the song, and he can report good news from Rihanna's record label

"We were just told that they go for "The Wait Is Ova" as next single and that it will launch a few weeks before the album release. It means a lot to us to be a part of a single release in this format," said an elated Mikkel Eriksen to Adressa.no.

 

Mikkel says he is very pleased that Rihanna chose "Russian Roulette" as the first single.

"Yes. We love the song. It was written by Ne-Yo, and we hope it can help pull up our song too," said Mikkel.

"Our song is pretty atypical Rihanna and has a much harder sound than 'Russian Roulette'."

I think this is the lead single to be honest, with "Russian Roulette" being a promo.

This sounds VERY promising, I hope it is the proper single!

What is going on with Rihanna, this and RR are $h!t..well not $h!t but below average. Seriously this is a huge comeback why are they putting out these awful songs, Im starting to doubt the album.

I completely disagree! :o I am bloody LOVING this! Her voice is better than ever! This is such a good album opener. Would have been a great lead single too!

I'm glad it's not called 'The Wait Is Ova' afterall (I mean, 'ova', really?). It's an okay song but I dunno, with a lot of the last album's material it seemed cutting edge and fresh, exciting. This is generic and a real step back, and sounding dated too. I hope the rest of the album is up to a better standard, I definitely prefer 'Russian Roulette' to this...

Really loving it. I can't really compare it to Russian Roulette as they're different leagues.

I quite like the fact she's ditching the commercial pop songs with the big hooks, because she sounding fierce backed by a strong urban beat (i.e. "Hard").

This is a massive grower, is there a CDQ leak?
