October 25, 200916 yr Oh my god Saturdays!!! I'm not even that big a fan if I can even be considered a fan but OMG I would've never expected that to happen. Same with Shakira!
October 25, 200916 yr WOW at chezza sales btw on the other topic :) and WOW and Shakira and Saturdays drop in the albums :o lol x
October 25, 200916 yr 57 36 7 Deadmau5 Feat. Rob Swire Ghosts 'n' Stuff 58 46 7 Muse Uprising Such amazing songs falling so fast! They needed to stay longer in the Top40 -_-
October 25, 200916 yr Chicane much higher than I expected him to be :o And brill to see Miike Snow in the top 75
October 25, 200916 yr Huge drops for Shakira and The Saturdays in the albums....I guess they'll need really good 2nd singles to help revive the albums I think physicals must of helped Miike Snow reach the Top 75, wasn't expecting that to happen!
October 25, 200916 yr I wasn't expecting Madonna to fall quite as far, I was certain she's stay top 10 for a while I can't believe Shakira and The Saturdays have tumbled to much. The Saturdays definately don't deserve that fall  Edited October 25, 200916 yr by Glyn
October 25, 200916 yr I do believe Rammstein sold as little as 800 on Tuesday, so fully expect Liebe Ist Fuer Alle Da to drop out of the top 75 or even 100 next week.
October 25, 200916 yr Well, Taio Cruz shows more staying power than Sats and Shakira so far! :o Edited October 25, 200916 yr by Arrs
October 25, 200916 yr Chicane charted again just two places under top 40 just like "Bruised Water" last year
October 25, 200916 yr I can't believe Shakira and The Saturdays have tumbled to much. The Saturdays definately don't deserve that fall  They definitely don't! It's f***ing tragic, but at least FIO stuck top 15 this week. The album will come back though, that's a certainty. It's definitely not heading in the Catfights & Spotlights ( :puke2: ) direction, "Ego" is going to be huge and there's plenty of big hit material left on the album to make it a success! But all albums are on freefall it seems this week - Editors, Barbara Streisand, Shakira, Taio Cruz, Jay-Z, The Veronicas etc - which says it's just an extremely front-loaded and bizzare period in album sales.
October 25, 200916 yr Its not stopped falling at no40 though has it, it will keep falling. Ego will help, but its got its work cut out.
October 25, 200916 yr 12 1 2 Editors In This Light & On This Evening 14 3 5 Madonna Celebration 26 7 4 Barbra Streisand Love Is The Answer 28 4 2 Shakira She Wolf 34 14 2 Taio Cruz Rokstarr 40 9 2 The Saturdays Wordshaker oh DEAR at all of those slides :/ especially Editors, Shakira and The Saturdays...and Barbra's gone 1-7-26...tragic what's worse is that Peter Andre is having staying power above most of these :heehee: nice to see Whitney top 5 in the singles and albums, marks a surprisingly successful comeback I think :o
October 25, 200916 yr Its not stopped falling at no40 though has it, it will keep falling. Ego will help, but its got its work cut out. I know, it will keep falling until Ego is out and the album actually gets marketed better because quite obviously only their core fans knew the album was out if it fell that much this week. They've moved on rather quickly from one era to the next as well which isn't much of a help to the album either at the moment but with time it will all sort itself out even with its freefalling at the moment. If you actually look at the contributing factors it was a bit of a given, but probably not to this extent.
