Of course GaGa deserves it much more than anybody else but i think the winner of this year's X-factor's song will be crowned as the number one of 2009.

Is Happy really looking set to sell 750k+ :o I've noticed a lot less buzz than there was around Bleeding Love and Run...

I hate the X-Factor affect.

I really want it to be Cheryl or Leona but I think it'll be the usual X Factor winner getting it..

XF winner may get it. But it depends on the person who it is. (Notice I said Person, AKA Not John and Edward - That would be terrible.) A Leona/Alexandra type win would get it... a Leon type wont.

 

I don't think GaGa will get it, Cheryl will outsell her eventually. XF finalists may also get it. Leona is doubtful unfortunately. BEP, Alexandra Burke I've written off already.

Well yeh but most of the big artists release music towards the end of the year to benefit from the christmas shoppers.

last years winners song sold 751k and they had an extra month, hopefully this wont sell as much and i doubt the winners song will be another million seller

 

anyway, lady gaga deserves it the most, will be annoyed if its x factor!!!!!!

I think it will be a close call as to whether or not anyone will overtake GaGa's Poker Face before the end of the year. True Alex and Cheryl have had great starts, but they still have someway to go to the 850-900k mark. Remember that woolies closure last year gave Alex a fast turnover in physical sales, which will be virtually non-existent this year, so I can't see the winners single selling enough in two weeks.

I think Poker face stands a good chance of holding on as the x factor winner will only have one weeks of sales that will count which wont be enough, but i wouldnt rule out the black eyed peas i gott afeeling taking the crown just yetas its nearing 670.000 and is tsill in the top 10 and sellling very well.

This years X-Factor has a stronger support group than last year and last year AB sold 840,000 in two week, Poker Face will be pipped I think...:(

I hope Lady GaGa gets it. Leona deserves it more than Cheryl in my humble opinion because:

 

1) Cheryl isn't nearly as talented

2) "Fight for this Love" is a distinctly average song and made number one because she's apparently 'The Nation's Sweetheart'

Cheryl doesn't deserve it because it's a fairly weak song, it wouldn't have done half as well if she didn't get the X Factor exposure and GaGa's pretty much sold on the back of it just being a fantastic song. Oh and yeah, Leona's definetly a possibility. We'll see though.
