I agree with everyone else basically.

• One country managed 7 qualifications!

  Mdice or FSR Rontvia. I'd lean towards Rontvia, seven seems slightly too many but five seems too few. HMM.

• Another country has 6 qualifiers, NONE of which prequalified for the final!

  Either me or Angelicland, probably the latter. I'd hope to have more than four, but I'm not sure it's likely.

• One country has 5 qualifiers, one country has 4 qualifiers. Three countries have three qualifiers, eight countries have two qualifiers, and eighteen countries have one qualifier apiece.

  5 - Whichever out of Mdice/Rontvia doesn't have 7, 4 - Whoever out of me and Angelicland doesn't have 6. 3 - Kopecka (maybe they have 4 too)/Nonsuch/Numayania (not sure)

• Bhangra may or may not have flopped.

  May. (undeservedly, I add)

• You all really do have a fetish for a particular artist - she received 103 nomination points and came 1st and 2nd on overall nomination points (finishing 1st in all of her finals). She may or may not have more than two qualifying entries. To illustrate the significance of the nomination points figure, the average qualifier received 25 nomination points...

• The most 'redemptive' song on the list finished 18th to begin with.

  "Mowgli's Road", but I hope for "Sabotage". BOO at songs finishing lower than 18th missing out. (including mine, Janelle etc.)

• Rather amazingly, one 2nd placer finished 16th in their final this time around! And it really isn't one you'd expect...

  Dunno, hopefully Alcazar, as I'd say the cheap ones are the ones we'd 'expect'.

• The wild-cards could have produced some really fantastic results, but we only have one big shocker in there and it isn't for the reasons you'd think :P

  Umm not sure, it's a pretty general one. Hopefully it's Video Villain qualifying, but I doubt it. Perhaps something getting small points from everyone?

66 qualifiers if you count the auto-qualified :funky: Two semis of 28 with 10 qualifiers from each go into a final of 30.

I wouldn't rule out Lady Sov or DDY TBH.

 

it's just my wishful thinking really...although I'd love to see Firefox AK wildcard it, if it IS Mdice with the 7, it's more likely to be Isabel and Lady Sov, or Isabel and DDY, or Lady Sov and DDY...I just don't see Firefox AK even being in the equation :(
