Well, over Siobhan anyway!

Without Siobhan there would be NO band. It was a chance meeting between her manager and Mutya's dad that set the whole Sugababes saga in motion.

That's a good point! It would be very unfair on Heidi in particular though seeing as she is the 2nd longest-serving member now I think. And the Sugababes are still rightly Heidi, Amelle and Jade as it was the originals' choices to leave (except Keisha possibly).

Anyway, I hope they go with One Touch for their name, it does seem fitting for them! :D

Any more news since it was revealed that we should hear something in the next 2-10 weeks?

I don't give a flying fuck if it's 'harsh on Heidi'. Without Siobhan she would still be a bloody WAITRESS in Liverpool. The Sugababes are rightly Siobhan, Keisha and Mutya.

As for 'choosing' to leave: Siobhan had clinical depression (left after being bullied out of the band), Mutya had post-partem depression and was then forced out by the management. So basically, both of them were pushed out.

No more news that I've heard.

arguably Amelle does too (definitely over Siobhan anyway)

LOL Amelle is just a random girl the label/management hired to sing in a similar tone to Mutya's, that's her only accomplishment. She had minimal input in the music and her entrance marks the period when the group had the least control over their work.

Siobhan created the music, tone and imagery that Keisha, Mutya and Heidi would develop. That mere fact gives the originals some primary rights over the name. As the group has ceased any activity (unless you believe they are really recording now eyeing an end-of-2013 release) there is absolutely no reason for them to not taking back their name.

As for Heidi, she took her decision. She decided who she would team up with in the future: Keisha and Mutya or Amelle and another girl. If that drove the group into the deep ruin she has to face it and step aside.

According to Wotyougot there's a non-single coming out in August (free download? Vinyl release? YouTube video release a la Marina's Fear & Loathing?) with the proper single coming out in October.

And with that I give you Teacher Donaghy:

So we get a release to say HAI WERE BACK! Then the real single. I like it.

I really would love this non-release to be Overload 2.0/2012 edition.

Can't wait to hear the ''non-single''. Not sure if a non-single is a good idea though? Probably to test the waters.

I think SoundGirl did the same thing, right?

Not sure how reliable he is, but:

Guys the Official Announcement is in 2 weeks. #OriginalSugababesComeback2012 RT RT RT

Siobhan, Keisha and Mutya follows him...

^She still looks like a trashy chav. They need to hurry up with this announcement, I know the women all harmonize great together but it would be great to hear something more uptempo from them this time around.
That's probably the best I've seen her look in a long time! I am looking forward to hearing this new material, it's exciting that it's so close.
Mutya is looking GREAT now. Not just 'better than usual':

Mutya aways looked better when she had something to promote.

I hope not, awful name. MKS or something would be better. And hopefully Siobhan doesn't leave again over being last on the list :P
