Chartjackers, for all those who don't know, is a project by internet peoples to put together a song using only internet people. The aim is to release it in aid of Children In Need and get to #1.

How do people think it will do? It's released on Monday 9th.

Imo, as much as I want them to succeed, this'll be lucky to get Top 40 but I may be wrong. It's getting almost no promotion other than being followed by Switch on Radio 1 and the people behind it - although they have good intentions - don't seem to realise that you need about 10k sales to get Top 40 these days, and atm over 100k to top the chart.

People need to remember that this is put together by hundreds of internet people and watched by thousands more. I think it'd be silly to discount it altogether. Whether you've heard of it or not, thousands have and they will probably buy it. That's my take on it anyway.

#1 is a silly aim, but I don't see a reason why it won't chart.

You never know, no one predicted Katie Melua getting to No1 a few years back.
Such a shame it isn't being released physically, I'd have bought it had i lived in the UK.

I would love to see this at number 1 but It obviously wont.

I think it could be top 10, lets not forget this will be shown on Children in need later in the week

Previous youtube related tracks were The Zimmers which featured Geriatric1927, My Generation went Top 30, most recently of course there was Esmee Denters who peaked at No.7 in August with Outta Here.

Unlike The Zimmers effort (which was only vaguely youtube related thanks to 1 member of the group), chartjackers

has a slightly younger appeal and may go higher. I'd say Top 20 at best.

Just bought it - not a great song but I love the sentiments. Top 20 though...
Top 40, no higher, good sentiments like Richie says but dull song.

You are nearly bang on :D , but I think it be lower come Sunday
