According to The Mirror, Johnson stormed out out of a rehearsal with vocal coach Yvie Burnett because he does not want to sing George Michael's 'Praying for Time'. An insider said: "He literally burst out the door and ran off down Battersea High Street. A few production staff chased after him to try to calm him down and make him come back but he was having none of it. "They even sent a car to follow him and try to make him see sense and return but he refused. He seems very angry and upset and is demanding a different song. It'll be interesting to see if Simon backs down or makes him stick with it." Another added: "He's not doing himself any favours with stunts like this which just make him look like a spoilt brat. Even if the song choice is wrong there's no need to storm out, he should talk about it first." Johnson reportedly went missing for nearly five hours before turning up at the Sony BMG offices to talk to Cowell. According to a show source, Cowell may be prepared to change the song if Johnson makes an apology to the production crew because "Simon will never tolerate rudeness". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- According to Digitalspy Irish TV channel TV3 Expose reveals that the theme has been changed from George Michael/Wham! songs with just 48 Hours to go..... The only remaining girl in the contest, Stacey, is rumoured to be singing If I Can’t Make You Love Me Meanwhile Cheryl is picked Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me for Joe while Lloyd is going to perform Faith, as earlier reported. Jedward are still planning on singing I’m Your Man, as rumoured at the beginning of the week. It’s only the boys who are still having problems. Danyl’s arguments with Simon have been all over the press and it looks like he’ll be singing Careless Whisper tomorrow night. However other sources suggest he could be playing Praying For Time. Olly is also still choosing which song to sing between Fast Love and Freedom. Not heard of Stacey's before, will have to check it out. There an old saying "No smoke without fire" ... and there have been a large number of media stories regarding Danyl's alleged behaviour without the obvious one doing the rounds on the internet with a fellow contestant that would be completely inappropriate to post without it being verified first since he made the Final 12 that there has to be an element of truth somewhere.
November 20, 200915 yr It's so nice that contestants can be got at by a well placed story - however it got placed. It used to be talent that counted. Now it's just a contest between the judges. I make a point of never believing what the papers say. These days you just can't trust them.
