Adam Lambert - 9/10 Really like this, you can tell it was penned by P!nk, I can imagine her singing it! :heehee:

Linda - 8/10 Catchy and as you say, similar to Robyn, so would no doubt do well.

Mohamed Ali 4/10 This seems to lack something, plus his voice annoys me...

Simon Curtis 7.5/10 I like this, although it's quite...subtle? Not sure if it'd do too well.

I'd say one of the top 2 would be the best option. I prefer Adam to Linda though, personally.

Thank you both ;o I'm very much leaning towards Adam, Linda, and perhaps Simon...

After some consideration, Mohamed Ali has been dropped from the selection shortlist by the ISCBK.

Adam Lambert - Whataya Want From Me?

__/\__

Adam Lambert, runner-up in this year's American Idol, is in contention with the P!nk-penned Whataya Want From Me?

__/\__

Linda Sundblad - 2 All My Girls

__/\__

The only female in contention for representation, Linda's 2 All My Girls is a Robyn-esque 80s-inspired stormer of a track!

Simon Curtis - Delusional

__/\__

Upcoming American artist Simon Curtis has been labeled 'the pop messiah', and Delusional is a Timbaland-inspired jam which channels Justin Timberlake whilst updating on the sound of Give It To Me.

Please continue to rate the songs out of 10 in the Kopečekfestivalen thread or in the Green Room!

Adam Lambert 9/10 - love it...it's amazing and love his voice on this track.

Linda 9/10 - Yesterday it was 7/10 TBH...the chorus is very catchy and made me love the whole song.

Curtis 6/10 - No sorry.

And the next track to get rid of is... :kink:

Adam Lambert - I'm far from a huge P!nk fan, although I do like her, and it's quite obvious that she wrote this...it very much encompasses her 'sound'. I like it, but don't expect it's the sort of thing I'd vote for if I'm being brutally honest. Maybe a point or two in a weak contest. Could finish top ten, but I don't think it's the male winner you're hankering for. 7.5/10

Linda Sundblad - very Robyn like vocals...excellent chorus and beat  a near certain top ten finisher. 9/10

Simon Curtis - hmm...not that blown away by it, I can see your Give It To Me comparison, although seeing as that is (quite shockingly) my favourite Timbaland single, this doesn't match it in my opinion...would be a grower though I expect - for the one listen/recap voting brigade though, it would be an instant nul pointer - definitely not a top ten finisher. 6.5/10

I know you want another male success, but neither of these two will come anywhere close to winning for you in my opinion. Linda is just about Robyn like enough to lean over and steal some (small) points from the indie voters, yet still trashy enough to appeal to the Rontvia's, Hendinia's, Ashton's etc...there's only one choice for me here.

i would try [and fail obv.] to appeal that trashy accusation, but i am sending Untouched with a song called Feed Me To The Boys :heehee:

Not exactly the classiest looking title is it :kink:

no, but as far as trashy titles go, it's on par with Smack Me at least :heehee:

:heehee: very definitely not putting me in a position to challenge to any trash accusations

Adam Lambert – Whataya Want From Me? 9.0/10 A LOT better than his other song. I can see potential to grow as well, this might be a 9.5 in 2 or 3 days. :kink:

This is definately the case now. A 9.5 at least. Amazing song. <3

XXIII Potential Candidates
__/\__

After Adam Lambert's half-expected flop, which triggered a massive expansion for Čevarik d'Ibis Valenquim (to the extent that they now control almost all of Kopečka with the exception of the capital), Trashe Svantselius is taking one last roll of the dice to secure his country and his future, and is going with an epic male risk - a track from the precursors to currently hyped HURTS, Daggers:

listened to that last week and thought it was very decent :D much better than Adam Lambert's track which must have been the first time in AGES I haven't voted or even been close to voting for your entry :snif:

so much for Caroline and Adam finishing near each other in XXII then, the gap has widened a bit more now :kink:

Hush, 2010 will be Kopečka's year to shine again :smoke: We WILL reclaim that 2nd place, then hopefully Mdiče will fail to qualify for a few contests or something so we can reclaim OUR RIGHTFUL FIRST PLACE.

A very decent song indeed i should say.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR NUMBER UNO THO. :kink:
