Best BJSC entries of 2013

 

Yesterday LucianBlomkamp's 'You & Me' became officially the best BJSC discovery of 2013 in Elëdan. The song finished 14th in the Year-end chart, being the highest placed track of all the discoveries. The best non-Elëdanese entry, regardless of it being a discovery or not, title went to 'Ocean' by 1987 which finished 8th and 'Bo Peep (Do U Right)' was voted the best Elëdanese entry coming 2nd in the YE chart.

Kinë to host BJSC again

 

Yesterday EBJSCC made a decision regarding the host city of BJSC 61. It's just been announced that Kinë will once again be hosting BJSC. The last and only time Kinë hosted the contest was in July 2012. Norah Revø, mayor of Kinë, told that she's delighted to have the contest back to Kinë and that the city will make sure artists and guests will feel like home there.

 

Feethoo, the capital and second largest city in the country, hosted BJSC 6 and 12. EBJSCC recently hinted at Feethoo being the first choice for the host city next time Elëdan win. The city was never in contention of becoming the host city of BJSC 61 because of city-wide reconstruction works and inability to find a venue big enough to fit BJSC 61.

 

BJSC 61 launches at 5pm on Sunday, January 5. It will be hosted by Elëdan-born 15-time Platinum Globe and 3-time Øscar winner Amy Poehler. The Final results show will start at 5pm on Monday, January 27.
