Olly: I actually missed a good bit of this performance so I can't really judge it, but the end sounded nice anyway. The vocals seemed better than last week anyway. But then again I only caught the last 30 seconds of it :PN/A

Lloyd 6/10 - Wasn't bad actually, he is improving

 

Stacey 9/10 - By far the best vocalist in the competition now, not quite as good as last week but still amazing

 

Jedward 5/10 - They are losing their spark a bit and could be in danger

 

Danyl 4/10 - Flat and awful

 

Olly 4/10 - Flat and out of tune much of the song

So Simon's idea of modern and contemporary is to get your act come across as a bad Will Young singing impersonator with the sex appeal of Gary Barlow in the 1990s singing a UK#1 hit from 1996. Olly has great talent, but the song choice did him no favours what so ever for the second week running. A very poor start but was salvaged by a far better second half.

I dunno what it is, but he just always doesnt seam a modern artist, i just dont see how he could sell records in 2009/2010. Good vocal for the most part.
