Beyoncé Album ‘Due In June’

New tracks described as “groundbreaking”…

Beyoncé unveiled six tracks from her forthcoming album to record label bosses in New York last week.

Sony Music Australia boss Denis Handlin shared his thoughts on the album with the Daily Telegraph. “It was just amazing,” he said. “She came in and played us six tracks from the album. She wants to do a big tour off the back of this record... These songs, the best description I can give is groundbreaking; she’s gone to another level.”

The album, Beyoncé’s fourth as a solo artist, is expected to be released in late June, just in time for her headlining shot at the Glastonbury Festival.

The album’s title or first single are yet to be confirmed but it looks like fans won’t have to wait too long to find out, as fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has just let slip that the Sweet Dreams singer wore one of his outfits while “filming the first video from her new album”.

As previously reported on MTV, producer Diplo and singer/songwriter Sia have been in the studio with the star, and Odd Future band member Frank Ocean recently said that working with Beyoncé was the highlight of his career.

The Destiny’s Child singer recently announced that her father Mathew Knowles would no longer be managing her career.

I would LOVE a June release! I also fully plan on going to the tour for this album! :D This is one of my most anticipated releases of '11, so it better not disappoint, and looking at the reviews, it shan't.

Me too, I've been meaning to see her Live for years, I WILL see her next time she's in the UK!

Rumour:

I'm pretty sure it's fake though as the length of some of the tracks looks dubious and there is a confirmed duet on the album with Kanye West, which doesn't appear on there.
hoping that Run For Cover is a Sugababes cover
I'd quite like "Revolution" as the title!

Me too, but if she were to do it, I think she'd accent the "e" so it'd be Révolution, like the posters on the video set. ^_^

I'd love 'Revolution' as a title too, but 'Révolution' would just look a bit too try-hard. :(

June 26th? Two days before my parents wedding anniversary.

My present will be the gift of seeing me happy when I buy the album :cheer:

Only properly got into her from the last album so I'm looking forward to this album. RTW(G) is growing on me too.
Well no fear, the second single "Till The End Of Time" will be released soon!

Rumoured to be.

I'd love 'Revolution' as a title too, but 'Révolution' would just look a bit too try-hard. :(

This is Beyoncé though, 'I Am ... Sasha Fierce' was one of the cringiest album titles of all time.

On a more positive note is that a collab with Marina of Marina & The Diamonds fame I spy?! :o Interesting!

Beyoncé has been confirmed as headlining at the T in the Park festival, which should be great promotion for the album.

T in the Park date for Beyoncé

Beyoncé is joining stars including Coldplay and the Foo Fighters to play this year's T in the Park festival. The "Crazy in Love" singer will take to the stage in Balado Park in Kinross, Scotland, on Saturday, July 9.

Other performers confirmed to play the event include Arctic Monkeys, Pulp, Plan B and Sir Tom Jones.

The performance will come after Beyoncé's appearance at this year's Glastonbury Festival where she is headlining the main stage on Sunday, June 26. Beyoncé, whose husband Jay-Z was the first hip-hop artist to headline Glastonbury when he played the 2008 festival, shot to fame in girl group Destiny's Child.
