I love the 'Life For Rent' album, it's currently the only Dido i own.

'White Flag' is simply epic! A travesty it didn't goto #1.

Agreed

Oh dear.
And the point of you posting in a thread that is over 2 years old is........?
There is no point? I just came across the thread and decided to share how ridiculous it was to everyone.

Well why don't we all go bump your threads for the same reason? :D If people wanted to read through a Dido thread they would. The fact that

it died long ago suggests that they don't.

Why do you care so much?

Also, I have a feeling that you're complaining because you're biased against me...

Oh well, I won't go on. Your loss, not mine. :D

Do you never tire of being so UTTERLY USELESS? What FUNCTION do you SERVE?

Reviving the thread may not be such a bad idea since Dido is releasing another album next year (and she is amazing!) but to bring it back up just to make fun of it when you missed the 'moment' two years ago is pretty idiotic.

No Angel is a bloody masterpiece. Life for Rent was patchier/more MOR but still had a couple of career highlights. She's amazing when she wants to be. Third album was bloody boring though.

Some people don't deserve ears. Here with me was good but from that point on she seemed to be on a never ending period. White Flag was excruciating.

"Safe trip home" must be MY FAVOURITE ALBUM OF ALL TIME or close. I'll never get tired of it, it's so subbtle and still immensely epic. She has never disappointed me so far.

And judging by the clip of "No freedom", this new album is promising.

Dido is dismissed as boring and MOR so often it's clear a lot of people aren't listening to the songs. She was shoved in the Katie Melua/ Norah Jones corner when her music is far better and more insightful.
Dido has done a couple of good tracks but the problem is her music is somewhat bland and a lot of the songs are fairly unmemorable. I think she will struggle to revive her career following the gap from her last album which flopped in comparison to the first two.
'Hunter' is a complete gem. 'No Angel' and 'Life For Rent' are both pretty amazing albums.

Dido's return will be interesting after the huge under performance of her third album. I am not sure if she fits into today's music industry but i hope she does. I have liked a lot of her material in the past and i hope she can be successful again. I also hope the material on her new album is good.
Can't believe it's another 5 years from her third album and I thought I had waited for her third album long enough...
I remember when I used to think her name was Dildo :nocheer: :(

  Haha youre not serious :w00t:

I remember the first time i liked one of her songs, it was when I first watched Roswell ^_^
