Re-releases of buzz singles rarely if ever do well for some reason.

That's usually because they're normally saved for around the end of the project, when they're unlikely to get any more hit singles, usually after previous singles have already flopped too (prime example: La Roux with 'Quicksand').

It was the only track I remembered after the first listen (aside from those I'd heard already) - I loved it instantly. I Am Not A Robot on the other hand has never been one of my favourites :( It shows diversity but I can't imagine it being a huge smash hit, maybe low top 40. Black Eyed Peas with 'Meet Me Halfway' and 'Imma Be'?

I was thinking of rising (hyped) British acts more specifically...with their buzz singles being their last 'soft' release before their proper full scale debut

"I Am Not A Robot" is my favourite on the album, so I think it's a great choice

And the album version of "Hollywood" is really not as great as the single :(

Obsessions is my favourite track - I love the bit from 1:54 onwards.

Shampain is very ABBA

The album version is shocking, I really think people do this as a ploy for people to buy the single as well as the album. I remember The Saturdays also included a pretty poor version of 'Up' on their album.

Here's the 1st vid for I Am Not A Robot, back when it was released in mid 09:

I  this vid, but she may do a different one??

Hopefully IANAR gets the epic video it always deserved. The original is lovely in an artsy fartsy way but it does no justice to the song.
Can someone tell me the major differences between the album and single versions of Hollywood?

The first verse is extended quite noticeably on the album version, it's double the length...

^^Theres extra lines about joining the mile high club etc, sounds a bit astrange when your not used to it.
Ah, so it's not a production change - it's just a different edit.

Such a good album! So many stand out tracks!

I find her vocals to be very mannered. Obsessions and Numb are the standouts.

Over all its a good album although she has the worrying habit of ruining a good song with some awful vocals.

I'm going to have to stop playing this album in case I overplay it.

Why would they re-film the video anyway?
Why would they re-film the video anyway?

They might have done...they did for 'Dog Days Are Over' for example.
