Overall:

Brilliantly strong debut album. Without a doubt the best new album of 2010 so far! There's not a bad song on it, even the lowest scores all sound like potential growers! God, this woman is a Goddess at the moment for me :heart: But there isn't a track I'd skip at all just yet. The best £4.95 I'll probably ever spend! :wub: 'Guilty' is particularly stunning! So far this album has so many highlights! :wub:

 

I'll be back in about 5 or 6 plays of each track to do another quick review :kink:

Just listening for the first time.

I remember disliking both 'Mowgli's Road' and 'I Am Not A Robot' initially (love both now), but that was before I heard 'Hollywood' which complately won me over. Amazing album, I adore the tone to her voice.

Growing and growing with each listen! Not a track I dislike AT ALL! :mellow: Which is weird coz usually with acts like Marina/Indie-Alt sorta acts there's always one or two songs that let the whole album down, but not with this! Such a solid effort and if this album doesn't go Top 5 at LEAST here in the UK, there really is no justice!

Are You Satisfied is such a grower. At first I was like "meh" but now I think it's brilliant.

 

The songs that I don't really like are Shampaign and The Outsider. It's like Marina trying to be POP whereas on the other songs her sound (however you want to categorise it) seems much more natural.
