December 6, 200915 yr  Addy, you sound like when Aaron sent David Guetta - the comment about it being 'the hottest new track from the hottest album from the biggest star in the world' or something made me LOL for a while  I do love Cold Case Love, though it has to be said  and I did love One Love at the time but god it got boring quickly :( LOL maybe I was exaggerated a little bit about Guetta but Rihanna indeed is the hottest new track from the hottest new album :kink:
December 6, 200915 yr I was fairly impressed with Semi 2, there were lots of good songs - not many amazing songs though, people may be surprised by a few I've voted for though! I'm already regretting not giving a certain song more points than I did though -_-
December 6, 200915 yr Oh Sanna Nielsen was sent in IX, one of my first discovery in this contest :kink: she lost out to Charlotte Perrelli in the Melodifestivalen 2008 final despite getting a higher public vote...stupid juries...I love Hero, but Sanna is an underrated legend  Sanna's album blew Charlotte's rubbish out the window!
December 6, 200915 yr LOL maybe I was exaggerated a little bit about Guetta but Rihanna indeed is the hottest new track from the hottest new album :kink: true, so it was always going to be sent by someone! I slightly prefer Firebomb though  oh and to BaNG - there are 4 or 5 Eurovision-y songs in semi 1 but semi 2 is a lot more Eurovision friendly, particularly the last few songs in the semi :heehee: we were definitely in the more indie semi, the other one was pop galore!

Yeah, Swedish voting thing sucks.. the Norwegian one tells the truth ;P Alexander Rybak won by 700 000 votes over Tone Damli Aaberge with.. 100 000? :P
December 6, 200915 yr Yeah, Swedish voting thing sucks.. the Norwegian one tells the truth ;P Alexander Rybak won by 700 000 votes over Tone Damli Aaberge with.. 100 000? :P I remember, I watched it online as it happened! I've never seen a winning margin of 7-1 before but Norway knew what they were doing - selecting the biggest Eurovision song of all time
December 6, 200915 yr I remember, I watched it online as it happened! I've never seen a winning margin of 7-1 before but Norway knew what they were doing - selecting the biggest Eurovision song of all time  That was so amazing, the people went crazy when the guy from "Øst-Norge" announced the last points  oh Alexander Rybak's song was the first MGP entry I listen to actually :o

December 6, 200915 yr Tonight :) sexy sig :kink: I can't see anyone's sigs at the moment.. It happens sometimes with my new Internet... Edit: OK, now I can :P Hmm... Edited December 6, 200915 yr by Mattias
December 6, 200915 yr i don't think i'll be here for the results, well at least for the start. If they ain't Ashton quick i should be here for the end :kink:
December 6, 200915 yr That was so amazing, the people went crazy when the guy from "Øst-Norge" announced the last points  oh Alexander Rybak's song was the first MGP entry I listen to actually :o I heard Foxy's Do It Again first I think :D surprised that was never sent to BJSC to be honest!
December 6, 200915 yr the whole album is ...I also prefer it to GGGB...this is so dark and shows Rihanna vocal totally in different level...but one thing couldn't understand :huh why would they put Te Amo when it really don't fit with the album  same here because I wasn't interested much in Say It, Sell Me Candy, Lemme Get That and Question Existing from GGGB but love everything on Rated R...Te Amo would have fit better on GGGB and Disturbia could have been on Rated R and been the lead single - it's a dark pop song/music video but still commercial enough to make the album a hit - Disturbia bridged the two albums perfectly actually...
December 6, 200915 yr Interesting results. I think its safe to say there are a few suprises here... No! We don't want surprises! :(
December 6, 200915 yr I heard Foxy's Do It Again first I think :D surprised that was never sent to BJSC to be honest! I think one of your sig's songs (Tone, Alex and Foxy?) is what i listened to first. Alexander's entry blew me away by the first seconds. TERRIFIC. I'm starting to get to love it again. :kink: About the contest... I'm charting other countries' participants but always forget MY ONE  :( By the way a handful of songs grew on me AS HELL but weirdly I casted my votes for all of them before anyway :o Oh and thanks to this contest I started liking Under The Sheets again :heehee: Hintyhint
December 6, 200915 yr LOL I only sent Rihanna because it's my favourite song at the moment and like Casey said it's a six minute ballad. Tbh, I just don't have as much time as I'd like to find new songs (Cassie Davis/Kid Sister/Jessica Mauboy etc.) like I used to. :( Hence the cheap-ish entries. Still it's not as cheap as others have been in the past and I hope it can at least qualify! :D
December 6, 200915 yr I much prefer GGGB album. The new album did nothing for me, really disappointed. I LOVE Sell Me Candy, my fav of the album :D

I'm starting to get to love it again. :kink: it's in my top 50 of the decade :cheer:  yes, that was my sig once! those 3 songs were so great
December 6, 200915 yr I much prefer GGGB album. The new album did nothing for me, really disappointed. I LOVE Sell Me Candy, my fav of the album :D I expected to be completely underwhelmed by it after all of the hate I'd heard about it and was cautious to buy it but I'm glad I did because I was surprised how much I like it to be honest!
