girls aloud have been on it, seen as simon tries to get international acts on as much as possible, name me a girlband that fits in with the names whitney, buble, gaga, rihanna ect.

when the spice girls reformed they picked SCD over x factor as at the time it was the bigger show. i could only think of the spice girls or destiny's child being big enough to warrant being on there and both are inactive bands.

Pussycat Dolls... I'm sure they'd have been on if they had material out at this time of year.

That's why Cowell's struggled to get guests for tonight imo. He's used them all up and hardly any other artists are releasing new material between now and the end of the year.

What will be the point of having Alex and JLS perform singles that are not released until next year they will peak too early. It also seems unfair to Joe and Olly who are just not in the same league performance or personality wise.Tired of the show now I will definately be buying RATM, X-factor needs to be put out of its misery it peaked last year.

hmmmmmm maybe the PCD's but maybe early in the season not towards the semi or final.

i totally agree though, hes had just about everyone who is releasing anything already on. i really cant remember last year but i don't remember having 2 guests on each week, being greedy simon has shot himself in the foot.

Cheryls show got almost 5 million viewers, i dont actually see how that can be looked at negatively but anyway

I would have loved to see PCD on xfactor, next year hopefully.

Yes, 6.30pm saturdays shows usually get an average of 4m people, she was never going to double that number! 5m is great :)

Earlier on ITV1, one-off special Cheryl Cole's Night In managed 4.94m (21.8%) from 6.30pm. "

Kinda low.

I would have thought more viewers would have wanted to watch that

5 mln isn't low. Today Cheryl Cole's Night in will air on itv2 another milion viewers, so Cheryl's audience will be half the x-factor final. Is it low?

bar strictly and Xfactor... only Merlin at 5.2 appears to have got more viewers! so not low!

wasn't it exactly before the x-factor final thus not even 5 million people is poor, im pretty sure t.v burp gets a lot more than that thanks to x factor.

Can someone start a new thread please :)
I actually like 'The Climb' :( It's one of that Disney tramp's more bearable songs.

Exactly, it should have got a bigger chunk of the X Factor audience.

call me cynical but does anyone else think that iTunes has been frozen on purpose so that Hit 40 UK won't have to play RATM? :heehee:

it will magically unfreeze after 7pm...

I was thinking the same

But it appears to be global ... again.

40% of the X Factor audience watched Cheryl, and 10% watched xtra factor. So 5 mln is very good result.

I still think 5 mill is amazing because girls aloud party got loads more but it was inbetween the live show and the results show final of xfactor, that must have been the most coveted tv spot of 2008. Cheryl was only on before the xfactor show, its nowhere near as good a slot.

TV Burp averages 4.5 million viewers!
