I didn't really laugh much at it tbh, usually love Nan but thought this just dragged on.

I personally found it HILARIOUS. A total laugh throughout.

I loved it - thought David Tennant was crap as he is in everything (in my opinion) for someone who is Scottish, I expected him to be able to be able to put on a Scottish accent without trailing off into another accent at the end of his sentences.

 

Nan was great though - and made me laugh when she was a little girl - already saying 'what a f***ing liberty!' :lol:

I agree about David Tennant i think he is a terrible actor and he was terrible in this special but that aside i thought it was brilliant i loved it and i thought it was hilarious, i hope we get a few more Nan specials as she is by far the best katherine tate charactor. I didnt know how they would fill the episode out but they really pulled it off and i laughed in so many parts, definitly worth watching and im also glad it did well in the ratings i think it was the 4th most watched show of xmas day even managing to beat the terrible but popular coronation street,

I loved it! The 2nd highlight of Xmas tele I think.

There were so so many classic lines in it, thank god i sky+ it aswell so i can watch it again and again, as im not sure if this will get a dvd release.

I really enjoyed it. I was unsure as well how they'd pull of a feature-length version when we only usually see a few minutes of Nan at most. But it was very good, and I LOVED David Tennant's camp ghost :wub: Very funny.

Tennant was the only low point for me from it.

It was okay but not as good as I'd expected it to be. Nan didn't swear enough.

im sure the swearing was limnited due to it being x mas day

I'm glad someone else agrees with me :drama: I really this he's so so so overrated.

He is totally overrated in my opinion, and it pains me when he wins best actor at the national tv awards.

Had to put up with my family moaning about how unfunny it was throughout yet they found the terrible and overrated Gavin & Stacey hilarious. :/.

 

Personal highlights was her 'alternative' gift with a charity made into Sudan or w/e and then her saying 'what? Alternative to something I'd actually want' hahaha <3.
