Those Facebook promo pics really are horrible LOL. They're all dressed really pretensiously and... eww. Still v excited for this though! It gets muchos stick but series 3 was great.

Starts tonight, looking forward to it, hopefully it will be at least half as good as the first two series were.

Otherwise OH MY GOD that was just the worst. Awful, awful, awful. Thomas is a really dreadful character. I never get any sense of emotion from him whatsoever. Also the writing was hideola - it's so knowing now, and what's with everybody saying you've fucked it? I've never heard anybody say that. It's you've fucked it UP. And I took issue with the way they were all dressed (especially Pandora). There's too much emphasis on trying to be all quirky. This better get better.

I don't think it was a particularly good start either. I was expecting more of a re-introduction or hint of what happened between the last series and now than getting right into it. I'd sort of forgotten how we left the last series.

 

It was pretty gloomy and not bad, just not great either. I totally had a talk to the TV moment when that guy asked "how have you been at college a year and not seen my daughter" - because she wasn't in the last series? :heehee:

That girl who Thomas cheated on Panda with was stunning :heart:. But yeah pretty much agree with you three. Easily the worst lead (and probably a contender for overall too) episode from a 'Skins' series :(

Terrible episode but I'm not that disappointed as I wasn't expecting much. Most people I know didn't even know it was on tonight tbh!

 

Although it could be that Thomas is such an unlikeable character why it was so terrible. I agree with Jark that he didn't have any real emotion, just stubborn all the time.

Why the hell did they start with Thomas, was just an awful tedious episode imo.

I haven't seen it yet, but the last season started off pure awful as well.

 

Actually, the last season was pretty awful bar 3 or 4 episodes. God, if it weren't for JJ, Naomi, or Emily this show would be AWFUL now.

Surely they're not carrying the girls death on for the rest of the series? She was in for a total of 5 minutes? Strange way to take tings.
