Joan Armatrading from St Kitts & Nevis.

Eddy Grant from Guyana.

First of all you have to define what you mean about nationality (spoken languages, citizenship, place of birth is a bit stupid) IMO artist who become famous under different citizenship than they were at the time of birth should be counted to the country they become famous from. I mean they are lot of acts from the former communistic countries but emigrated to US/UK/somewhere else and became famous when they were their new home's citizen. Songs released by them should have been counted to their new home's country not to the country of origin!

The obvious example is Cliff Richard who was born in India but is clearly British. OTOH Mika - as I said earlier - was not only born in Beirut, his mother is Lebanese which would surely make him half Lebanese.

But I'm sure that her mother has already a British citizenship as well as him, so in my eyes he's considered to be British! ;)

That would make him eligible to play football for England but he could also play for Lebanon.
