January 28, 201114 yr Oh thank f***ing christ. There is a Diddy remix of this as well available for a free download on soundcloud [all legal an shizz] and it's pretty good. P Diddy actually put down a vocal for it. This song is massive stateside. I can't wait for it to smash here.
January 28, 201114 yr Wahey :cheer: Is the song THAT big stateside though? I don't think it went top 100 yet. Sure it will with Diddy on board though, it's an ANTHEM
January 28, 201114 yr This song is AMAZING. I asked about it in the release schedule topic a few weeks ago, and ManicKangaroo told me it got released 18 months ago. Maybe he got it wrong? Must go to #1!
January 28, 201114 yr Had its first play on Radio 1 Floor Fillers tonight :D Should be looking good for playlisting in the coming weeks fingers crossed! So did dozens of other tracks in the past few weeks :P Going from Floorfillers to the main playlist is a long way to go ;) I'm hoping the DJ Sava tune eventually gets on there, they played it last week :D
January 28, 201114 yr I'm hoping the DJ Sava tune eventually gets on there, they played it last week :D Radio 1 played "I Like The Trumpet" ???????????????????? :o
January 28, 201114 yr So did dozens of other tracks in the past few weeks :P Going from Floorfillers to the main playlist is a long way to go ;) I'm hoping the DJ Sava tune eventually gets on there, they played it last week :D True, but at least it shows that they're aware of its existence so it's a start! There's no way it was going to be ignored for a UK release anyway, at the very least, if it gets Radio 1 backing, it will be as big as Get Shaky (after that smashed first in Australia) but it has the potential to do more imo.
January 28, 201114 yr Yes they did. And this week Edward Maya's "Desert Rain" ;) WOW...Finally Radio 1 is discovering the European music
January 28, 201114 yr WOW...Finally Radio 1 is discovering the European music  But this is Floorfillers, a dance music show, so quite a lot of European music gets played there. But on the main Radio 1 playlist its totally different.
January 28, 201114 yr as gooddelta said "True, but at least it shows that they're aware of its existence so it's a start!"
January 28, 201114 yr Is this seriously getting released properly? This song is so old, it went to number 3 in Australia last April/May, and look at the date and time of the OP, December 2009. I like the song but this will flop hard due to it being out so late. When it was on floorfillers this evening I was thinking 'nice, what a blast from the recent past' , can't believe this is its first play on floorfillers. They say better late than never but this is too late, years late. This song won't probably end up on the playlist, so many european songs get played on there like Edward Maya, and this other song that was played before 'I Like That' and had the words 'Lick It' in the song - cba to look up the tracklist Edited January 28, 201114 yr by danielG

They say better late than never but this is too late, years late. I don't think it will affect it if it gets a proper push, we get loads of songs way later than other countries, especially dance songs. Most casual listeners/music buyers in the UK probably won't be aware of the song's existence. I wouldn't be if I didn't follow international music scenes/charts. Wasn't Stereo Love out in mid-2009 in a lot of countries and we finally got that over a year later.
January 28, 201114 yr I agree with goodelta, this has alot of potential but it is slightly annoying how late we are getting it. I am still surprised the label didnt take advantage of an early January release, it could have been this years big January dance smash. If it gets the push and promo I see it going top 5, if not top 3 at least IMO.
January 28, 201114 yr They say better late than never but this is too late, years late. This might seem off topic but DJ Casper 'Cha Cha Slide' hit no. 1 in the UK in 2004 - four years after it first became a hit in the US. I remember hearing this at the time when it was big in Australia and haven't heard it since. Will go on YouTube and remind myself what this track sounds like.
January 28, 201114 yr Wahey :cheer: Is the song THAT big stateside though? I don't think it went top 100 yet. Sure it will with Diddy on board though, it's an ANTHEM  It's been to #1 on the Hot 100 Dance Chart. This song is AMAZING. I asked about it in the release schedule topic a few weeks ago, and ManicKangaroo told me it got released 18 months ago. Maybe he got it wrong? Must go to #1!It was released on iTunes as i've bought it from the UK store, but it has long since vanished. And for the Nay-sayers: Don't be tarded. This song has had no push in the UK, Dance tracks don't work the same way the mainstream stuff does. If this gets a push by R1 this will smash. It should be huge, it's a bloody brilliant track.
January 31, 201114 yr Some people seem to forget that regular people don't follow the charts of other countries like we do, I didn't know of the track's existence until a few weeks ago. It will be HUGE providing it gets the right push.
February 25, 201114 yr So what's actually happening with this? Out in about two weeks and there's nothing of it anywhere. :( They better not bugger this up, it has SERIOUS hit potential if they actually do something with it.
March 13, 201114 yr Doesn't look like anything will happen with this then, apparently the radio edit's been on iTunes since the beginning of Feb :o
