December 16, 200916 yr Well assuming it IS Zane Lowe's record of the week or w/e, they playlist Hadouken!, but not Grizzly Bear? (which had the equivalent) :/ Grizzly Bear WERE playlisted - they were Upfront listed for 2 or 3 weeks, can't remember what the song was called... I heard it on the radio once, it was alright.
December 16, 200916 yr that retro is amazing - i didnt realise robbie and nicole were playlisted lol - and badly drawn boy had a christmas song??i remember being gutted that cry by mj was only clisted!!
December 16, 200916 yr i thought they would have put itin the clist as they usually do this with novelty type records by artists they like.
December 16, 200916 yr Author Ok i'm looking at previous playlists, but with the old format its hard for me to figure out their precise dates pre-2004. But playlists in the following years: 09/12/2004, 29/12/2004 08/12/2005, 26/12/2006, 05/01/2006 (1 gap, then a semi-gap) 13/12/2006, 03/01/2007 05/12/2007, 26/12/2007 17/12/2008, 07/01/2009 16/12/2009, ??? guessing from past years, I'd say this is probably the last playlist of the year
December 16, 200916 yr yeah they do it so they can play anything from the year and the prechristmas hits - but they also play loadsa new stuff thats not on the list but appears in the first new playlist of the year in jan!
December 16, 200916 yr Author ^^That would be correct, plus for example Owl City may well be on A or B-list rotation at the end of December, even though technically its still on the Upfront due to the freeze.
December 16, 200916 yr THANK GOD they've kept Mini Viva on. Might get a decent posistion in the new few weeks then.
December 16, 200916 yr N-Dubz featuring Mr Hudson - Young Forever.. is that meant to be playing with fire
December 16, 200916 yr Oddly enough I liked it at the time, same with Papa Roach, which is pretty remarkable considering I hate the genre generally. Oh I also liked A - Nothing at the time hah, dont think i'd give it any chance these days. funnily enough I listened to A's Nothing yesterday on a compilation - it wasn't that bad I hated Papa Roach though
December 16, 200916 yr Author funnily enough I listened to A's Nothing yesterday on a compilation - it wasn't that bad I hated Papa Roach though I liked those songs, but I wouldnt say I loved them. Definitely not as much as the dance, R&B and pop tracks released at the time which were pretty amaze.
December 16, 200916 yr N-Dubz featuring Mr Hudson - Young Forever.. is that meant to be playing with fire I can see why it would be an easy mistake - two acts simultaneously have a single with Mr H featured... and both end in a Z (Jay-Z and N-Dubz)
