Post your opinions or any requests, and a chart mod/myself or any other chart watchers will try and answer all your questions, later on in the day. Music Week report will be posted between 11.00-12.30pm, or thereabouts, when the mids come through, they will be posted, until than predict away. :D ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Lily Allen heads for top spot in UK charts New Regal/Parlophone signing Lily Allen looks likely to start her career in style this weekend, with retail reports suggesting her first full release Smile will climb to the number one slot after entering at 13 on downloads last week. The singer is beating strong chart competition from new releases from Razorlight (Vertigo) and Paolo Nutini (Atlantic), and looks set to relegate Shakira feat. Wyclef Jean to the number two position. With no Michael Jackson reissue this week, the highest new entry accolade looks likely to go to Bob Sinclar feat. Steve Edwards' World, Hold On (Children Of The Sky) (Defected), just inside the Top 20, followed by singles from Rogue Traders (RCA), the Pipettes (Memphis Industries) and Rifles (Red Ink). George Michael's An Easier Affair (Aegean) is poised to rise from 74 to within the Top 20 after getting its full release yesterday. In the albums market, Muse are certain to score their second number one with Black Holes And Revelations (Helium 3/Warner Bros) after comfortably outselling Lostprophets and Keane's bestselling albums yesterday. The album is on course for a five-figure sales total on Sunday if yesterday's figures continue throughout the week. Johnny Cash's latest posthumous release, the Rick Rubin-produced American V- A Hundred Highways (American/Lost Highway) is also a contending for a Top Ten debut, while a batch of new entries appear lower down the chart from Keisha White (Kor.ova), Nouvelle Vague (Peacefrog) and Dashboard Confessional (Vagrant). ===================================================================== Summary Singles Lily Allen on Top of the Pops [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJ_hfQ2h4kQ.swf 01 Lily Allen - Smile (13) [CLIMBER] 02 Shakira feat. July 4, 200619 yr This week, I think Lily Allen Top 3 (maybe Number 1) in singles, and Muse number 1 in albums :P Lily Allen won't be #1.. she's created enough bad press lately to put folk off her. ^_^

July 4, 200619 yr This week, I think Lily Allen Top 3 (maybe Number 1) in singles, and Muse number 1 in albums :P I think I ditto that, depends on how Shakira does. And this is a good idea, nice one :D
July 4, 200619 yr i'm banking on Razorlight making a high debut in this weeks singles chart. Here's hoping Razorlight climb from #15 above Lily Allen within the Top 5.
July 4, 200619 yr I'm Thinking........... 1 (1) Shakira 2 (-) Lilly Allen 3 (2) Nelly 4 (-) Razorlight 5 (3) Pussycat Dolls
July 4, 200619 yr Singles: 1. Shakira 2. Lily Allen 3. Nelly Furtado --------------------- 6. Razorlight Albums: 1. Muse
July 4, 200619 yr Lily should be number one - I'm not bothered about the song really but Razorlight need to be kept off number one.
July 4, 200619 yr Music week report is in cr@p #1.Razorlight deserve the accolade..much better vocalist AND song IMO. :(
