I should expect Rage will remain #1 for the Big Top 40, but Joe is a cert for #1 next week if he isn't today.

Killing in the name (live) at #15. Down from #11 last night and up from #138 or so yesterday midday.

Shows that those who say the chart is a rolling 48hour chart. Talk total BS.

KITN lead on Joe has narrowed from a 3.9/1 ratio to a 3.2/1 ratio. Wonder where it will chart next week, I can see it still being top10, what do you think?

I don't understand - surely that would make perfect sense for a rolling 48 hour chart?

Nope, basically nothing was sold on it more then 48 hours ago. So there would be nothing to drop out and hence it would not be dropping.

It doesn't show anything yet. As the live version was selling sod all up to yesterday (well down in the 100s until yesterday PM) we should be able to get conclusive proof later this evening. If the live version is still fairly high then it's 48 hours, if it drops off dramatically there is no way it can be anything other than 24 hours, as where would yesterday's massive ascent in sales have gone?

A 4 place fall doesn't tell much at the moment....

I remember reading that someone reported that it was a rolling 48hr chart and that they had a source.

Plus you have to remember, that on Sunday, the iTunes chart takes a lot longer to update.

That's simply not true, many Ragers were buying the live version of the song before - that's exactly why it was at number 138 at midday! It rose up to number 11 over a period of just a couple of hours, but now that those sales are in there it'll fall away more gradually.

(this was @xmas presence, sorry, slow typing)

Whilst I'm certainly in the "24 hour" corner, it's also surely sold next to nothing in the last 13 hours. In those 13 hours the four songs that have overtaken it will have continued to sell, as Sunday is the biggest day for download sales it's fair to assume they'll have sold more from 00:00 to 13:00 this morning than they did between 00:00 and 13:00 Friday morning. I'd say it's fairly inconclusive...

Any sign of Sugababes or Beyonce ft LG? :D

Sugababes #399

It's frozen though, I don't know when this position is actually from.

It sold a small amount yesterday morning. A lot yesterday pm.

Almost nothing the day before.
