That's always the case with Facebook events & groups though! It's no suprise. I always so for events that are popular knock only 1/3 of people will actually attend (or buy in this case!).

Even if RATM end up at number two it will still have been far more successful than any previous campaign and it's been great fun. Now, who's starting the campaign for the Pogues next year? Don't forget, today is the ninth anniversary of Kirsty MacColl's death so next year's tenth anniversary would be an ideal time to get the best Christmas song ever to number one.

I still think it will stay in the chart for another week but decrease dramatically.

Tom Morello has apparently announced that Rage will play a free UK gig if they get to #1 :o this should encourage a few more sales!
