Has anyone even noticed hardly any Xmas tracks inside the top 40 this year, last year we had the likes of Slade, Wizzard, Wham, Band Aid, the interest in the Xmas tracks has completely waned this year, he seems people are not downloading them that much.

Mariah, George Michael & The Pogues will probably be the only Xmas tracks in the top 40 come Sunday, seems the PSB could lose their footing inside the top 40.

I reckon the people who bought it last year don't feel the need to buy it again :P Plus my favourite Xmas song is not available on download sites so I had to go to torrents for it, as it's not even on compilations
It is odd that it is the kids and their strange taste in music that has dominated the charts but what future career can Joe really carve out if his dowload sales are already so low.I do not think he has much appeal in his age range just the over 60's and under 10's. Rage can still do it and wipe that smug grin off Dark Lord Cowell's face.

I think Joe has it locked now.. which for some reason, I'm happy about. :D

Great for 3OH!3 being top 5.

Just think if the Physical single was dead, Joe would have been totally wiped out

Come On RAGE!

What if the BBC decides to do wat it did when God Save the Queen went to number 1 but announced it was number 2?

Do you actually believe that story? I've never seen any evidence to back it up bar a couple of shop owners saying it outsold Stewart by 3-1, but GSTQ wasn't stocked in every shop as some had banned it

Anyone know the last time the top 2 in one week both sold over 300,000? Surely this is the first - and no doubt last time this decade?

It's certainly generally regarded now to be an urban myth.

It does make a good story though I'll give it that

God some people have an obsession with Simon Cowell it's becoming unhealthy. I hate the X Factor as much as anyone but who cares? He's a billionaire at the end of the day. Something me or you will never be, he won't care in context of his life.

I enjoy that Joe has caught up. 9k between them is really down to the wire, which makes things more interesting than the gap being tens of thousands either way.

Although I'm not a fan of the song choice in RATM, I'll concede that the 'battle' has been interesting to follow. Sunday really will be interesting.

I reckon Joes sales will shoot up tomorrow
I have a feeling that Joe might just win, come Sunday. Though a lot of my friends have been buying the RATM single <_<
