Also this is the first time an Oasis remake is in the top 40 and its not "Wonderwall".
December 20, 200916 yr Sort of gone off this song now.. I like the music but the lyrics arn't that great.
December 20, 200916 yr this George song is such a yawnfest, Last Christmas is 5 billion times better!
December 20, 200916 yr Next week will be full of fallers too though because of all the X Factor related stuff going down the chart, next week's chart is gonna be very interesting too! :D
December 20, 200916 yr Next week will be full of fallers too though because of all the X Factor related stuff going down the chart, next week's chart is gonna be very interesting too! :D yeah I look forward to seeing how fast RATM fall, and if Cheryl can make top 3 with 3 Words!
December 20, 200916 yr Im not a George Michael fan by any means and i hate his music and this song but i have to say effort has been put it to make a a christmas single and this is probably the only new real christmas song about.
December 20, 200916 yr 13 (from 8) Alicia Keys - Doesn't Mean Anything [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697621702.JPG Chart Run: 8-8-13 [3 wks] Release date: 30-11-2009 Format: CDS Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 88697621702 Label: RCA Precocious R&B vocalist/pianist Alicia Keys was hand-picked by Clive Davis as one of the flagship artists for his post-Arista label, J Records. No doubt he was as impressed by her multitude of skills (Keys took a large role in the writing, arranging, and production of her debut album) as by her music, which mates contemporary hip-hop accoutrements to an old-school soul sensibility a la Jill Scott or D'Angelo. Only 20 years old at the time of the album's release, Keys already seemed poised for a major career built upon her soulful voice and classically trained piano chops. While hip-hop played a much bigger role on her second effort, 2003's THE DIARY OF ALICIA KEYS, it was a smash nonetheless, and subsequent recordings have further pushed the boundaries of R&B - HMV Video here: uZ37HOKqOjA Chart history (Year peak title): 2001 03 Fallin' 2002 37 Brotha Part II (Angie Stone Featuring Alicia Keys And Eve) 2002 18 A Woman's Worth 2002 06 Gangsta Lovin' (Eve Featuring Alicia Keys) 2002 24 Girlfriend 2003 19 You Don't Know My Name 2004 18 If I Ain't Got You 2006 62 Ghetto Story (Cham Featuring Alicia Keys) 2007 06 No One 2008 53 Like You'll Never See Me Again 2008 09 Another Way To Die (Alicia Keys And Jack White) 2009 02 Empire State Of Mind (Jay-Z feat. December 20, 200916 yr Next week will be full of fallers too though because of all the X Factor related stuff going down the chart, next week's chart is gonna be very interesting too! :D But IF the X Factor winners single is not number one this week, it has every chance to climb next.
December 20, 200916 yr Ohhh me too, I forgot about that, REALLY hope that some of them will manage it next year once the show is shown properly, needs to be shown on C4 really though! I know, I was hoping C4 would show a repeat of the pilot over christmas but they're not :( C4 are definitely missing out on a hit if they decide to relegate Glee permanently to E4 when it returns in the new year.
December 20, 200916 yr I expected Alicia to fall with all the x factor stuff etc plus people will have bough the album and her album may miss the top 10 but will open with some pretty decent sales.
December 20, 200916 yr Doesn't Mean Anything. Love this song still, one of my faves of the year even. Can't wait to get her album for Xmas! :D

At least it's an original Xmas song and it's sung by a classic British iconic artist, not some grunge-rock has beens from the early 90's.
