There will be more tomorrow, the chart data is Peter's and he won't be back online until tomorrow :(

Good chart this. I like everything but Tinchy & N Dubz in this region :D

Glad you like, this chart should definitely be Buzzjack friendly, no Radio 2 crap or hardcore hip-hop :kink:

By the way, if anyone could make us a funky banner saying The Official Buzzjack Hot 40 (leave out the Of The Year, then we can use it in future weeks) it'd be awesome
I really can't stand Pixie, but she's good on the eye

I can't stand Pixie either.

And I really don't see how she's attractive at all, she just seems cheap and plastic to me. Someone young, chavvy guys would like.

(I'm not calling you a young chav though Mikey! :heehee:)

Interesting idea for the chart too! ;o I'd be very surprised if GaGa doesn't top it tbh.

You dirty old man :o :P

Good morning all! So here we go with part 2...

30. Calvin Harris – I’m Not Alone

Charted: 29-03-09

Chart Run: 30-27-5-4-4-4-5-4-6-7-18-28-37-38 [14 wks]

Sales Peak: #1 (2 weeks)

Airplay Peak: #6

Multichart Peak: #7

I'm still not getting this...can someone please explain?

Eg.

31. Little Boots – Remedy

Charted: 02-08-09

Chart Run: 21-13-7-7-5-4-5-4-7-9-17-18-33 [13 wks]

Sales Peak: #6

Airplay Peak: #4

Multichart Peak: #1 (5 weeks)

Sales & airplay peaks seem to be the official UK chart, and multichart peak is the multichart peak...but where is the chart run from? It's peak is listed as four, so it's can't be the official UK chart or the multichart

The chart run is from this chart. I have compiled weekly charts throughout the year, based on sales airplay and multichart, and that is where the first two pieces of info are from. As of next week we'll be doing this chart weekly, so they are just to give an idea of how this chart shapes up and to give a bit more insight into how well these songs did when all 3 factors are taken into account.

Comprendé?

29. Keri Hilson feat. Ne-Yo and Kanye West – Knock You Down

Ah, now I understand, thanks :)

28. Beyonce – Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)

Charted: 2008

Chart Run:**-15-11-5-5-5-4-4-7-11-15-21-27-32 [13+ wks]

Sales Peak: #7

Airplay Peak: #3

Multichart Peak: #8

Before I go on, here are a few songs that you won't be seeing in this top 40.

Leona Lewis - Happy

This song did very well on the airplay and multichart before its release, but its rapid decline in the sales chart meant it didn't have the staying power needed to make it into this chart of the year, and misses out.

Tinchy Stryder feat. Amelle - Never Leave You

This song spent quite a few weeks stuck at number 3 on this chrt during the summer behind Beyonce and the Black Eyed Peas, and just misses a spot on the chart of 2009.

Michael Bublé - Haven't Met You Yet

This was a big airplay hit and a reasonable sales hit, but was a bit slow to gain momentum on the multichart. Had there been a couple more weeks in the year, this might have made the cut.

I'll be back in an hour or so with 27 and 26, before Tom takes over :)

27. Pink - Please Don't Leave Me

Charted: 29-03-09

Chart Run: 36-13-16-12-8-9-7-7-9-13-17-24-28-37-38-40 [16 wks]

Sales Peak: #12

Airplay Peak: #2

Multichart Peak: #8

26. David Guetta feat. Akon – Sexy Bitch

Charted: 16-08-09

Chart Run: 39-15-7-5-4-2-5-5-6-13-17-19-27-35 [14 wks]

Sales Peak: #1 (1 week)

Airplay Peak: #3

Multichart Peak: #7

That's me for today! Tom will be with you later with the next part of the countdown, and I'll be back tomorrow to start the top 20. :)
