Posted December 30, 200915 yr Just wondering what everyones faveourite killers album is and how you would rank the albums, for me its as following Hot Fuss (mainly as it has indie rock n roll on it) Day and Age Live at royal albert hall They are my clear faves i adore those 3 albums 4th Sams Town 5th Sawdust

December 31, 200915 yr can't sleep, i think my neighbours are having sex :mellow: 1. Day & Age by a clear mile (Spaceman, Dustland Fairytale and Joy Ride being the highlights) 2. Live At The Royal Albert Hall (best live CD ever after Kylie's Live In New York) 3. Sam's Town (how can you not love the album with Read My mind on it?) 4. Hot Fuss it's good but i don't listen to it often, but special mention to Midnight Show) 5. Sawdust (only a few good ones here, the best being Change Your Mind)
December 31, 200915 yr Author If you like Kylie;s live in new york Mr. Van de Kamp have you checked out her 2 other live albums, intimate kylie and showgirl homecoming??? Im glad you like the killers live cd and i agree with your day and age highlights but human would be in there for me aswell,
December 31, 200915 yr Hmm... being such a die-hard fan makes it very difficult to choose a favourite. I change it all the time. At the moment: 1. Hot Fuss (such a very special album to me, it also made me fall in love with the band) 2. Day & Age (was my favourite a couple of months ago) 3. Sam's Town (so underrated. It was my No.1 album by them at some point)

Im glad you like the killers live cd and i agree with your day and age highlights but human would be in there for me aswell, i have Homecoming but not Intimate and Live Kylie is great live Human just goes without saying :P
December 31, 200915 yr Author Hot fuss does hold the key in a way as like many others it is the album got me into the band and it holds certian memories from that era to, but day and age i just love aswell, studio wise they are miles ahead of sams town for me. Yes Kylie is brilliant live and a ver under rated live performer in my opinion, i have been so lucky to get loads of kylie live music on cd;s and i rarely listen to studio kylie anymore as enjoy her far more live.
January 2, 201015 yr Day & Age is pretty disappointing for lots of people, I just think it's an amazing album. Nevertheless, I admit it had to grow on me, but now songs like Losing Touch, This Is Your Life or Neon Tiger are absolute Killers classics for me.
January 3, 201015 yr Author I liked day and age from the first listen, i suppose it was a change in direction from the last 2 albums but i would love the next album to follow the day and age sound.
January 6, 201015 yr Author Yes something on the lines of read my mind, although sams town is by far my least fave studio album read my mind is one of my overall fave killers songs to date.
January 9, 201015 yr Author I adore read my mind and the live version on the album is absolutly fantastic, read my mind never fails to put a smile on my face.
January 22, 201015 yr For me: 01| 'Hot Fuss' [One of thee best albums EVER!] 02| 'Day & Age' [They truly found their "Las-Vegas" sound with this album and it worked :wub:] 03| 'Sams Town' [stunning follow-up album. Although it's 3rd of my favourites, it's still a strong album!] =========== 04| 'Sawdust' [Good album. But I prefer a proper full album of newer tracks :(] (I'm not including the "Live" album, as that has all their best songs on it, just live :lol:) Will they ever do another 'Mr Brightside'? A song that people will think of as an anthem in 10/20/30 years time? Yes I know most of their songs are "Anthems" but there's something about 'Mr Brightside', which is why it is my favourite song of all-time! :wub:
