The chart is looking awful lately. That awful Justin Bib doing well, and Florence + The Machine's massacre of a truly great song look to do be doing well. Agh.

Both lead singles (If This is Love and Forever is Over) debuted in the top 10 on physicals and then dropped like stones. Up was in the top 100 for 36 weeks and only entered on physicals (#5) but that was a brilliant song, Issues jumped up from the late #20's on downloads to #6 on physicals and then up to #4 the next week, Just Can't Get Enough was at #2 but that was a Comic Relief single and then Work already kinda peaked with downloads.

 

So if you compare Ego to Issues, it's doing pretty good and hopefully the CD release will jump up to the top five HOPEFULLY!

Nah. Girls Aloud are on a "break" and Girls Can't Catch/Sophie Ellis Bextor are hardly bringing in money for the label. The Sats at least are doing very well on downloads right now.

Ego is doing pretty well on iTunes, it certainly has stuck around. So even if it doesn't make top 10, it'll have a respectable chart run.

so because the other artists are doing $h!te that makes saturdays look better lol. their album isn't going to go gold at this rate, no amount of downloads (and they are doing average on downloads, not very well) is going to save them.

The Saturdays won't be dropped on this campaign. Another two singles will probably come from this campaign. The Saturdays are clearly popular they had their own tour and get a great reception at festivals. The problem was the terrible first single. The record company also misjudged that they were big enough to release in the fourth quarter that should have been a third album move.
