Well done Fascination tbh. This was a dead-horse project either way while they need to ride another dead-horse project as Sophie is still releasing her album.
not much of a loss if I'm honest. facination are crap anyway.

Shame :( They had potential but just never lived up to it. The material was good enough but they clearly were never going to get anywhere. Fascination seem to be flopping all over the place recently to be honest and despite my love their artists - they've been in need of a clearout. Watch out everyone who isnt Cheryl Cole then...

Tbh aswell I think they're failure can be fully blamed on how ridicolous their name was.

Also if Girls Cant Catch can be dropped despite getting 2 singles in to the top 30 what the hell are Mini Viva still doing a with a recording contract?

But Tokyo was a far bigger hit than GCC's two combined? It must've sold 150k+ whereas Keep Your Head Up and Echo can't have done 75k between them...

And Britt has said the status of the Mini Viva album is pretty much unknown atm so it's not exactly a sure thing that they're getting a release/any more chances. Shame because they're pretty bloody good. So much more complete as a group than GCC.

 Was looking forward to the album :( Mini Viva, now GCC :(
A shame. They at least were better than The Saturdays (which is relatively easy tbh haha but still..).

They weren't better than The Saturdays. They had two good songs for christ's sake!
Yet the album sampler that was leaked $h!ts over anything The Saturdays have done, imo of course.
Nothing they've done touches some of The Saturdays top moments.

Phoebe BrownJess StickleyDaizy AgnewMusicGirls Can't Catch have confirmed that they have split up.

Fans were made aware of the group's demise when a spokesperson for their record label, Fascination, told Teen Today that the group "unfortunately are no longer signed to us".

The trio, Daizy Agnew, Phoebe Brown and Jess Stickley, released their debut single 'Keep Your Head Up', which peaked at number 26 in the charts, last August. Follow-up single 'Echo' didn't fare much better, peaking at number 19 in January.

"Sadly its over for GCC. We have an incredible year! Thank you so much for your support. It was a pleasure to share this experience with Jess and Phoebe. I will pursuing other projects. I don't believe in giving up. Thank you once again for everything," Agnew wrote on Twitter.

"And yes I will be going solo, I've got this far I'm not going to stop now. I wish the girls the best of luck, they are fantastic people."

The group received support from Mollie King of label-mate The Saturdays.

The 23-year-old wrote in a message to the three: "So sad to have just read your tweets! Just remember this is NOT the end, its the start of a new adventure!"

"I think it came to a natural point where we would all like to try other projects," Stickley added.

The trio, who supported both Girls Aloud and the Jonas Brothers on their most recent tours, had been expected to release their debut album later this year.

The Saturdays are way better I think, fair enough their songs were good/alright but they were completely personalityless and bland. 3 interchangeable girls.

"Keep Your Head Up" was better than quite a few of the Saturdays singles imo.

I think it's a big shame they were dropped. Even though they only had released two singles, they were both brilliant and I was very looking forward to hearing their album. :(

That report was written by BuzzJack's Ryan afaik! :o Anyway, it's not much of a loss... I prefered the B-sides to their actual singles, which kinda says something, but I was interested in hearing the album (obvz not paying for it :P).
