With Cheryl I'm naturally suspicious of anyone who uses Max Clifford as their Public Relations Manager. I'm even more suspicious that she ended up marrying a footballer who had also had a personal sexual scandal who was also a client of Max Clifford (Ashley Cole); so lets just say those two getting together neutralising a scandal that the pair had separately had was quite literally a case of killing two birds with one stone.

 

Then add Cheryl's bitter comments in Q magazine regarding her feud with Lily Allen (yeah right you are Cheryl that Lily's pop career is "down the crapper" and that she will "never forgive" Lily); and the reports back in the early autumn when at some celebrity function she met (future Dr Who assistant Amy Pond) actress Karen Gilliam and reduced her to tears because she was so offended by this impersonation of her from the Kevin Bishop Show.

Can't this country just be done with Max Clifford already he literally the most evil man in the history of the entertainment industry and covers up every vile thing that celebrities do. For example that Kerry Katona was always a drug addict funnily enough the truth came out when he stopped representing her. Then of course there was the whole X Factor cover up scandal this year. Who knows what else he has covered up.

Actually agree with most of these, a lot of hate for Cheryl, although I do agree about the stylist

 

 

 

On the site cheryl is voted 3rd best video and then she is voted as the worst... eh confused? :wacko:

Her single was also voted second best behind Poker Face and her album third best behind both of Gaga's

 

Clearly you either loved it or hated it.

 

The problem with her album was that a) it was rushed (how she managed to record anything inbetween promoting TLK and Untouchable, climbing mountains, touring and doing The X Factor I'm not sure) and b ) it wasn't anything like Girls Aloud's work.

 

From the comments I've read on forumsa lot of people who dislike Cheryl's solo work like Girls Aloud's work and those who like Cheryl's work don't like Girls Aloud's songs.

I have to agree with the artwork award tbh, I think Cheryl's album artwork is atrocious myself. :( Other than that, fairly predictable awards I guess.

Because the entirety of the Cheryl album was done in three weeks. And she didn't record The Fame last year, she recorded it in the first half of 2008...

But GaGa's ONLY been focusing on her solo work (well, more or less). Cheryl spent 6 months of the year on the UK's biggest reality show, climbed mountains, toured with Girls Aloud, promoted Girls Aloud's singles, endless promotional work like her Q interview, L'oreal adverts and photoshoots, etc.

 

Furthermore (and the key point) Gaga is better than Cheryl, as Jimmy Carr said on BFQOT you can't mark the kids in primary school the same way you do the kids in high school

Lol at the Lady Gaga has released and recorded two albums in a year.

 

The Fame was probably recorded partly in 2007 seeing as Just Dance was released in April 2008.

Lady Gaga concentrates on her music and performance. She was not in a girl band, a judge on a tv show, had an advert for hair that isn't even hers and touring.

 

To even say that Lady Gaga puts as little effort into her music as Cheryl does is bizzare.

I totally agree that Cheryl's album was rushed, but people can't use the fact that she filmed an advert as evidence for that!
