'Shameless' star has three pants sex rule

Rex Features

Shameless star Sally Carman has reportedly revealed that she wears three pairs of knickers when filming sex scenes on the show.

The actress, who plays prostitute Kelly-Marie Ball, told The Sun that she insisted on the wardrobe requirement.

Carman said: "It's pretty much in my contract. I have a three pairs rule. As long as I've got three on, I'm okay."

Of her sometimes kinky outfits in the show, she claimed: "I will put anything on, I really don't care."

Carman claimed that her character's heavy makeup means that she is not often recognised off camera, but added: "When I am it's always, 'Oh look, it's the prossie'. There's a fine line anyway with acting and prostitution!"

Shameless continues tonight at 10pm on Channel 4.

really liked todays ep, and next weeks was even better.

Completely agree Steve.

Next weeks episode is definately the best of this series to date. (Probably last series too!) It's really good.

This ont be the last series as we are guaranteed series 8, does anyone know what the ratings have been like for this current series.
I thought Micky was great in the episode where

he and Kelly were looking after the doll.

Anyone else think breaking up Paddy and Mimi was a huge mistake, they were far better together than apart?

Judging by the preview for next weeks episode we may just see another glimpse of them together!

Wasnt that in the past?

well weeks on and theres still little or no comedy to it... but as a drama it is interesting and watchable. maybe my mistake was expecting it to be funny... well, as funny as the first 2 seriese.

ya its turned far more into drama now than comedy, although there is still slight elements of comedy in it the drama is the fore front, Personnely i think they need more comedy as thats what made shameless fantastic viewing.
