Do you guys reckon that GaGa's debut is going to be her best-selling record? I know its hard to judge with no material right now, but it would be amazing if she could manage to top these astounding sales!

The fame era will end up selling more than michael jacksons thriller album that sold over 100 million

I was jokin people. Like it would sell more than the biggest selling album in the world. Hehe

I am itching for new GaGa stuff. More 'Monster', less 'Fame' though please!

I think it could go beyond even the brilliant Monster tracks.

That shows a lot of growth as a musician from The Fame. I think She can only get better on the next Album.

Oh the anticipation :kink:.

hearing some of the new leaks I think she might be heading for a more 80's inspired era this time around following some peeps. It's bound to be huge though.

I think it's a really sensible move.

There is such a thing as overkill, even with GaGa. Plus, maybe it'll give her a chance for a little rest.

Yes, let her sleep for gods sake
I agree, it'll be good for her and the public to have a break from GaGa. Although 2011 could mean Jan 2011 :heehee:
Thank god it wont be out till 2011, and hopefully that means middle to end of, she needs to rest and relax for a while and hopefully take a lot of time making sure the songs that go on this album come out perfect, an album out this year seems too soon and it could potentially cause people to get tired of her, also i wouldnt want the album to feel rushed either.

Lady GaGa has revealed that she will announce the title of her next album at midnight on New Year's Eve.

The singer, who has been working on her follow-up to The Fame Monster while touring the world on her 'Monster Ball' tour, said that she will post a photo at the start of the year of her new tattoo, which will be the LP's name.

She told Rolling Stone: "I think I'm gonna get the album title tattooed on me and put out the photo. I've been working on it for months now, and I feel very strongly that it's finished right now. It came so quickly. Some artists take years; I don't. I write music every day."

GaGa also revealed that the LP has moved on from the concept of The Fame and compared her new material to a "bitter" flavoured cake.

"Why are we still talking about 'Don't ask, don't tell?'" she said. "It's like, what f**king year is it? It makes me crazy! And I have been for three years baking cakes - and now I'm going to bake a cake that has a bitter jelly.

"The message of the new music is now more bitter than it was before. Because the sweeter the cake, the more bitter the jelly can be."

But if she feels it's finished, why do we have to wait so long? :snif:

I'm half glad it has been pushed back a while - at least now she can have a well deserved rest. I've got a feeling that maybe the first single might be out end of 2010 then the album released upon 2nd single

If GaGa doesn't release new material soon, her record thing in my personal chart will end :snif:

My personal chart has had about 38 weeks now, and Lady GaGa has had at least one song in every single chart. That is the record thing I mentioned.

wow, She's on the ball... we've got another 6 months to get through yet :P.

Hopefully it'll be single November, 2nd one in Jan and the Album following week.

This will give Gaga and the public some rest and build up loads of anticipation for a new era.
